I do not waste water...........but if it were never used again, then how come we have water each day? Interesting.......yet, I believe this flick is also important to watch.
Wow, I haven't seen this since I was little! And I never knew that "wasteroon" is what they were saying. I actually thought they were saying "wasteroo". Close enough I guess. lol :)
OMG! I was talking about this with someone and they looked at me like I was crazy. I was even singing the song for them. I'm glad you posted this. lol
I must confess something. I'm a wasteroon. I take long showers, and use lots of water when washing dishes. I like them clean. My parents would never let me do the dishes, because I used too much water. But then, I would take a glass from the cabinet when THEY did the dishes. I'd pour a glass of water, and get a mouthful of suds, because they did a poor job rinsing. Being a wasteroon is nice. They never made me do the dishes. Hahaha
Ok this may sound silly but does anyone know where I can find a clip of another "Don't Waste Water" skit by Sesame Street, the one with the little fishy out in the pond and every time the boy turns on the water in the house more of the fishy's water drains out until he is gasping for breath lol??? This video scarred me for life and I think about it every time I turn the damn sink on, and for the first time in my life I found someone else who it bothered too and we want to see it! Any ideas?
I thought i was the only one!! thats the first thing a thought about when i saw this clip. I was so afraid to waste water. I still think about it up to this day!!
it was a Health Canada skit at the end it had a black ! with Kids something as its logo and it was like "this advertisement was funded by the Government of Canada" lol anyways me and my bf remember it too hope that helps
lol yeah, it seems as though they're trying to put the fear of god into kids so that they don't waste water. They look so angry when they say "Are you a wasteroon!?".
Oh. I learned so much from watching this.........never waste water!!!
And it's true; the water can't be used again.

I started my dishwasher with less than half a load in it... and then my conscience started singing this song.

sorry, still think it's 'wasteroo.' Listen to the lyrics-- has to rhyme with '(something)-poo' and 'thing or two.'

Why do the water drops have Southern accents?
carlitosbug 4 years ago
It doesn't matter, it may vary but it may be based in the Southern part of America. Btw what is the differnce bnetween Northern and Southern accent?
onlyyesterdaynow 4 years ago
But it does matter!
carlitosbug 3 years ago
Yes, I understand what you are trying to say, like they have to speak English, but what matters is not their appearance, but their talent or ability.
