For everyone hating on me all I have to say is. I HAVE ridden an original board I had a malakai 40 and it snapped in 3 months. You're lying if you say you've taken your board up to 45mph with original trucks. It's impossible. The reason I don't like Original is the way their boards are overpriced. Their company name is Original, yet every board they sell is nothing but a copy of another board. Their trucks are shit for sliding and downhill. and they are immature with the way they handle things

To every one arguing with MrSeangeeee: I'm sorry but you are all wrong. Yes, Original shit isn't meant for DH. Non the less, their trucks and boards are still shit. I have had experience on their products, and they are stupid. They are overpriced, and not durable, useful, worth it at all. They're a hugely popular company, but there are so many other decks and truck makers that are SO much better, for SO much cheaper. Loaded shit is expensive, but at least they're stuff is decent.

@chancerbob95 Those trucks are da shit, you'll love them. Don't get a beast though, it will be overpriced, and will probably snap at the neck. Boards that are like the beast but won't suck dick: Nelson Spindrift, Comet FSM, EW Supermodel, Clutch Doubletap (or lambchop), the list is endless. These are all great boards, and you'll be better off going with something like that rather than an Original board.

@FlSkateLife 4prez and inheats are good for tech freeride because the large contact patch and square lips allow riders to scrub off speed and then grip around a corner. freeride wheels won't grip nearly as well around a corner and the smaller contact patch means longer slides without losing nearly as much speed. and plus, more experienced riders can still shred on 4prez or in heats, it's all in the technique.

About to buy a longboard and just wondering why Original Longboards suck?

@xNadRojx28 they dont really suck, they just use a very own technique that gives u an awesome carvy feeling (a bit like snowboarding/surfing etc.) but are not able to handle higher speeds which u need if u wanna do freeride/downhill/freestyle (theyre to heavy to handle that as well).. so if youre just into cruising and not into the "high performance" stuff like doing trick, i'd recommend u to try out os trucks, because the feelings great. if u wanna slide and stuff, get normal bushing trucks :)
