First off if your parents are poor or your poor then you get a free ride regardless of what it costs. 2nd off the people who attend UC have a lot of money or their parents have a lot of money. Before the gov got involved in higher education, you could get a summer job and pay for your tuition and graduate debt free, but because the gov co-signs student loans, the colleges can charge whatever they want and the students can pay it because of the loan. Well milk is high in vitamin d3, but if I had my money on it, I think Vitamin C could stop the flu faster in its tracks because it stops the virus from even replicating. I think Vitamin D is more for prevention, but once you got it you gotta megadose vitamin c like crazy. vitamin c is water soluble and washes out of your system in a few hrs (approximately 4). some animals make their own however humans do not and it's also not stored long term in the body. if you took a small amount every 4 hrs it would do more good than a mega dose but it wouldn't kill you to take several grams of it because it would either be used or leave the body. If you took a real lot of it then yes it would be bad for your kidneys but still would kill you.

the source of your vitamins makes a great deal of difference. most vitamins are made in laboratories therefore they are not real vitamins. most vitamins are a chemical structure that's similar to the vitamin. the vitamins you should take are called "whole food vitamins". again restated not all vitamins are equal.
