Autant l'album Kutche avec Bouttella en 1991 fut un fait marquant dans l'histoire du Raï (l'album le plus abouti à mon avis) autant il fut la fin d'une époque dans la carrière de Khaled. Il a gagné en technicité mais il a perdu beaucoup en authenticité. Le vieux son pourri du Raï, qu'on aime, que j'aime, on l'a plus écouté après cet album. Le raï, comme un plaisir d'une bande, on l'a plus revu depuis cette date. Le raï comme façon d'être a cédé sa place au Raï, comme simple genre musical.

Oujda est une ville marocaine, la plus proche des "grandes villes" marocaines à l'Algerie( 14 kms), mais les Oranais, tlemcenis, Ma'askris, maghnawis ...c'est nos frères on se connait très très bien le Rai/Gasba, El gharnati, le'alawi, c'est des styles musicaux communs entres les deux parties de nos pays(west algerien, east Marocain)...on est liés aux Algeriens plus qu'marocains ici ( culture, style de vie, music, economie...)
