  • What aircraft is that?

  • Ryan quit cheating and using zob's ts server. After a long break I'll be back up and running tomorrow. Send my a skype msg and let me know what ts server you're on.

  • What is information whisky?

  • @tiburcioman Imagine that at 6AM the tower had the first day weather colected...we call that Alpha Information, as it changes we pass to BRAVO, CHARLIE, DELTA, etc

  • @tiburcioman It's the information/current conditions. It changes promptly A-Z.

  • Got one problem with tower taxi clearance should be read Runway XX taxi via XXXXX i dosent matter but VATSIM strives for realism

  • thats great you guys should make more videos, im thinking about joining vatsim

  • Nice...

what program you use to record???

  • Hi..i'm new to VATSIM.How do you communicate with tower after keying in the frequency? Is there something else you have to do ?

  • @Physicspilot key the mic

  • ITS CALLED FLARE STUPID

  • VATSIM ftw!

  • how do yuo get vatsim?

  • @kxkid0517 visit the vatsim website:)

    Just google it

  • check your altimeter way before you takeoff

  • DTW does not have traffic patterns, it's designed just for IFR, VFR flights are essentially vectored for a visual approach

  • Not much traffic there. I'm just wondering about one thing. You are making this circuit quite high. Is it normal in USA? I'm used to CTRs reaching 1800 ft AMSL etc.

  • @DelfinoDelphis In the United States we do not call them circuits, we just call them traffic patterns. We do them usually at 1000agl.

  • oh boy...you're wasting fuel ... after takeoff reduce power to 25 MAP, in curcuit you can further reduce power (for a curcuit i would suggest 16 MAP and 2100 RPM) and lean the aircraft...and before reducing thrust to idle / on approach NEVER forget Carb Heat...

  • @blub77 Carlm it sun, its only a game! :)

  • @blub77 you dont need carb heat unless your experiencing icing, carb heat is just going to reduce your engine performance if you put it on and there is no ice in the carburetor. But your right that, once you reach your pattern altitude you should reduce power, unless otherwise for spacing.

  • @Bzeligier You need carb heat to keep the oil at its temperature , otherwise you will #!*$ up the engine , it just happened a week ago at the Aeroclub I go to .

  • @Bzeligier and besides , carb heat is not for removing ice in the carburator , it's actually an anti-ice procedure , to prevent ice in the carb.

  • Im a controller at KDTW tower and this is 100% failure.

  • Any professional pilot can tell that the "controller" is not a real controller.

  • Uuhh thats great to know..

  • @flyifrvfr not true...

  • hey nice job! could you tell it wasn't a real airplane too?! ....

  • Did I touch a nerve poor baby. OK you are a real pilot there there, no more tears.

    Virgins

    Across

    Town

    Seriously

    Into

    Masturbating

  • Envy? :)

  • lol i know both of those voices :) .. Is that Andy on tower? =)

  • I would have just taken off without a clearance and let the faggy nerd wanna-be controller yell at me. Then I would have landed on a taxiway.

  • Sooooo if the controller is a faggot nerd wanna be controller, I guess that makes you the faggy nerd wanna-be pilot rite? ;)

  • I use flightsim to keep some skills sharp that are not used in everyday flying. I also do things on a sim that I would never do in real life flying.

  • my point proven. Whose to say that the controller in this video, isnt a real Air traffic controller :)

  • Pilot always (almost always) turns to left. especially on touch n go

  • try flaring

  • Oh BTW does anyone know why they don't have DFW? Dallas fort worth... And if someone could tell me the steps to being a atc that'd be nice. Lol i get nervous when they talk to me, i mess up like all the time! But if i want to be a pilot i guess i better get rid of that nervousness!

  • Hahahaha WTF?! Setting altimiter while on the takeoff roll? I thought you said you had the ATIS, you set it then...

  • I swear i hear the distinct accent of Nic Gonzalez as the controller.

  • yes you did.

  • all I miss in Fs09 is copilot option :S

  • detroit sucks!

  • could you help me learn how to join VATWSIM?

ive tried it b4 but cant seem to figure it out,

    i like the ATC com

  • What do you need to know?

  • Im training to become ATC in the atlanta artcc on vatsim, just got passed the clearance delivery OTS for class C airspace.

  • Also it that the copilot you are talking to at 3:00

  • teamspeak

  • Kool i am an atc at jfk on Vatsim THAT I A BUSY AIRPORT

  • wow, i salute you guys

  • thanks there are alot of ass holes who dont like that we are super professional

  • Yeah, cause it depends on how you look at it. Like I love the super pro sessions cause I want to be a pilot in the future. So I salute you guys for the professionalism! Some people are just insecure. Lol

  • true, but 90% of older people who do play it like this, are real pilots or ATC, because they can do things in the sim that you cant do in RL

  • Note to the tower controller - GA aircraft callsigns are not spoken with group form.

  • Nice, but you did make one mistake! When you requested tour clearance, you didn't identify the aircraft type and ATC apparently assumed you were a Skyhawk instead of a Dakota!
