this country putts black men on probation for anything. it doesn't mean a damn thing that he was on probation, the sentences are not proportionate to the crime,
I haven't heard anyone on any side condone the beating the Jena 6 did. Hanging nooses in the US south is as clear a symbol of racial hatred as hanging swastikas in Jerusalem would be, yet the white students who hung them were not charged with hate crimes because they were juveniles - they got three day school suspensions instead. Yet when the black kids, who were the same age, beat up the white kid they were charged as adults and faced up to life in prison. That seem like justice to you?
A LOT more white people have been hanged in this country than have black people. A LOT more black people are murdered by other blacks in just 2 or 3 years time than were EVER lynched in the US. If you beat someone unconscious, and then keep beating them, and it is 6 on 1, you should go to jail for attempted murder. It doesn't matter why you did it. I want you off the streets.
