I couldn't agree with you more, Megan, on all accounts. Thankfully, my husband and I feel the same way about debt--we don't spend what we don't have. We tend to pay by credit card though--for the air miles and the convenience. Then, years ago, I thought about our daughter watching us do this. You know what they say, your children do what they see you do. So, I made a point to tell her that we pay it in full each month. And now, at 20, she is like us financially. Yay!

Have you ever heard of people sharing emotion over vast distances?
Ive sent love emotion to a girl in South Carolina, SHe felt it all, i made her cry, over a period of 3 days she felt all of it, calls me amazing! Sent me thoughts I picked up on also, exact photographic thoughts she sent me I could explaine to her specifically.

You know what, I also noticed last year with our election here that our Reserve Bank was consistently jacking up interest rates over the campaign to make the then PM look bad. Someone like me could see that this financial crisis (already underway a year ago) was going to get worse, but it seems the experts didn't have a clue. "Fake it till you make it" is an attitude that is pathetic. This method of saving face is only a temporary measure that will leave someone painting the walls with their brains. You need to let go and let the chips fall where they may.

60 Minutes did a report in Australia about the economy and it did far more harm than good...at least on Oprah they were offering solutions on how to cope. Just because she has money now does not mean she cannot help people...but that's just me...

It wasn't Oprah that was giving the advice, it was a guest she had on...Susan someone, a financial adviser on tv, and she was just telling people not to get into debt. You're right though about all the media fear mongering. I noticed the media here doing that months ago when the market wasn't even going down that much. Its like they wanted to make it go down.

the media purposely scared people & the markets to help the obama bin biden deitylook good & george bush look bad... i don't care about bush or mccain, but i noticed that whenever the dow industrial average & s&p were doing good mccain was ahead in various poles... & when obam was ahead markets look gloomy. i'm not that interested in politics or business shit but it was far to obvious to have not noticed this trend. not even suze ormans best advice can save most people

You know what, I also noticed last year with our election here that our Reserve Bank was consistently jacking up interest rates over the campaign to make the then PM look bad. Someone like me could see that this financial crisis (already underway a year ago) was going to get worse, but it seems the experts didn't have a clue. Now they are dropping rates like mad as they have alot of scope from last years rises.

hi darling , great video!! totally agree with what you say, it can be especially difficult when you are coping with your own feelings. It takes a real amount of self control especially in a work situation dealing with different personalities and ego's. The money thing is really important, my nan would 'lay away' clothes and stuff that made me laugh when you mentioned that!!!! I used to take a lot more to heart too, but now i realise that the main thing is to be true to myself and my family and friends. There is really no point in getting worked up about a You Tube person who doesn't like you- that's life- this is where they should be able to choose SILENTLY not to watch without me having to block and delete!!! As a skilled worker, I'm so sick of HR fluff-bunny bullshit that I'm about ready to hang myself on an ethernet cable. Somehow, in the last 10-15 years, HR went from being a useful set of secretaries to a set of overpaid cheerleaders. OK, honey, you go over to say Africa and bring your laptop and powerpoint slides and tell a set of amputated villagers how their situation is all in their mind, that they can "choose" to be happy. Pop-psych bullshit.

Great video! It IS all about attitude. Just offering someone a smile can completely change their bad day into a good one. If I had a dollar (inflation) for every time someone said that they were glad they saw me because I made them laugh on a day when they really needed it I'd be - well, I'd have about 50 dollars, lol - but still. That's enough. It's attitude not aptitude that determines your altitude.
