Thanks! The cam is a Boport stage 3. You can find the exact specs at Boport.com. It is a pretty serious cam, however I am running the same cam in my SVO and is very streetable as well.
@YourpainRx The tranny is a Doug Nash pro shifted 5 speed with a Ford 9" rear 410 gears.Made block adaptor to run a small block ford Lakewood bellhousing and small block ford flywheel and clutch set up.
AMAZING how much the pitch and tone of just the boport machine head wrk can do.. my svo sounds pretty healthy but this is awesome. altho i do have a full exhaust, 4' dump down into a Y 4-dual 3' ... but still awesome car man!!!
@dominate1776 lol the SVO High Deck, John Huber is pulling 900+HP out if it stroked to a 2.9L. Street N Strip has a regular N/A converted to Turbo with 500+ on a stock bottom end. Mini Stock Drivers use the N/A 2.3L turning 7000-8000+ RPM on Stock Engines. Majority of EFI 2.3L last well over 300,000 Miles with no smoke. Don' know who told you your information but the 2.3L is INCREDIBLY STOUT.
@Hotarihanzo those trucks are Ford Build Tough, I'm, beating the shit out of mine everyday since 2 years or so, and did over 60 k kilos and I never put even 1 dollar on the engine except for oil changing lol I'm gettin to turbo it to 25 psi soon hehe
@beluga420 I've had my 95 2.3L since 2008 and been all over north america, never trusted any other vehicle as much as i do this one. and I run this shit out of it all the time, it's one "stout" light truck that deserves more respect than it gets. as for parts, its at 160,000 miles and the majority of the parts are still motorcraft factory originals.
@Hotarihanzo yep of course I always say that my truck is a POS but in fact I love it it only has 165 kilos the body was still good since I feel asleep on highway and hit a Jeep lol those m50d trannys are unkillable and same as for the motor rest of the truck are some options to it lol
@Hotarihanzo Actually, the street n strip Turbocoupe was never N/A ;) Tyler does great work with the 2.3T's though, stock bottom end to boot as well. Only thing done was ARP rod bolts to the bottom end. He's been well into the low 11's with that heavy beast, could go into 10's once he gets a cage in the thing!
what type of turbo? thanks

that thing sounds like a rotary. I have a sand rail with a 13B with about 2 feet of exhaust, and a 12 inch glasspack, and it sounds just like that
