Thank you very much for your kind comments. The video was actually recorded in HD but was just about two weeks prior to being able to watch HD videos on YouTube. It was the cameras second outing
fantastic engine it looked a bit out of place with those coaches if only they could par it up with some orginal 1930s coaches that would look spectacular
As it went under the other bridge behind, an orange light just appeared. what was it. If your not sure look at my video of it at chester and go to the end.
You certainly chose a great location Austin, enabling you to capture all the action with no steam or fellow photographers blocking your view, so well taken and 5*'s from me..Bob
Many thanks Bob, I hadn't been to that spot since the early nineties so was surprised to find there was still a shot on. Filming is a little tricky as there is a gantry just a few feet from the footbridge which manages to make a sneak appearance as the stock is being brought out...Austin
very nice vid and I specially like the exhaust sound, you've done a very good job there.

Thanks very much, it's a shame the Great Western vintage train set of coaches are no longer allowed on the main line.

I think it will be the fireman opening the firebox door to put some coal on and the glow from the fire is reflected in the smoke and steam.

Thanks Steve, I was at Lydgate and was numb by the time the train arrived. I think I'll stick to rehashing my old videos at home in the warmth!!
