This is a very sad story. We all know that Kyle is heaven W/O pain. God bless Michael and his children. I lost my daughter at 7 months old. It took along time to acknowledge that God is looking over her and that she is W/O pain. Knowing that Michael is a great christian, we all know that he will see his wife soon enough. Although this will not take the pain away. My family prays for you and your children.

Do you get to pick which wife your married to in Heaven? I don't think so.

I believe we will know each other in Heaven, but there is no need for Male/Female in heaven, so we wont need a spouse either.

god bless michael... i had the pleasure of opening for him in 2001 and got to spend about a half hour or so with him. im in no way a "bible" type guy, but i do believe. he never shoved it down my throat, we just chatted. he is by far the nicest "rock star" i have ever worked for. more down to earth than alot of opening hacks i worked with... i truly feel for his loss, my condolences michael

The survival rate of ovarian cancer is very small because there is no real way to detect this kind of cancer. To live that long and so healthy at stage four is a miracle really. I did not know about this and I am sorry to hear about this loss. If you are a woman listen to her symptoms and if you have them then dont wait. Go to your doctor. If you are in your 30s or around that age make sure you get regular exams.

For those in Christ. Dying is not the END. It is in fact a good thing, and you get to be with the lord sooner.

Think about this. You may be having a good time at the park and feel happy, but if you knew next week you were going to Disney Land.....Next week could not some fast enough.

Now magnify that 100000 times.

The people at the park are sad you left, but know you are having a great time, and are actually the lucky one.

And how when people "accept" the fact that a child gets killed out of the blue...but people say "God wanted him/her home in Heaven..." I can't quite swallow that one either. I'm sure the kid didn't wanna have their life taken! Why didn't "GOD" SAVE the child to live a full and happy life?!  Good comment my friend. I didn't know Kyle had passed. What a great lady. Michael is a hero of mine. I've been a fan since the start and I have to say that there are very few people I would ever act star struck around, but Michael is at the top of the list. He has meant so much to me in my lifetime. Michael, I am truly sorry for your loss. You will see her again in a much happier place and be with her for eternity. I love you and may the peace of the Father comfort you.

Having met Michael Sweet MANY times, I can vouch that his faith in GOD will get him thru this.

He really lives the life he sings about, and not many rock stars do that.

His stregnth and the stregnth of his wife, who still is in his heart, will pull him and his wonderful kids thru this.

I have been a Stryper fan since 1984 and I took alot of guff because they are "God Metal" and funny thing is....

Everyone who picked on me is now Christian!

I too saw Stryper down in southern Cali at Magic Mountain. Been listing to them all the year since. Just saw then in concert a week ago here in Portland, OR. The guys are still spot on! I had no Idea this had happened. It is very sad indeed. My brother died very quickly from pancreatic cancer. There will come a day that we can cure these things and we'll not have to deal with the horrors of this terrible disease. Bless them both. I love Michael Sweet and have been a fan since 1983 but I can't understand how he could go on TBN. Those people are a bunch of creeps and are responsible for making Benny Hinn a star and other con men. Paul & Jan creep me out more than I can put into words. I love Michael's (and Kyle's) spirit. But, many well meaning testimonies, books, etc have one thing in common. They make suffering (due to illness) a means of glorifying God. Jesus healed everyone who came to him. Jesus using physical suffering to help others who will suffer, does not glorify God as the healer, only the comforter. He gave us the same authority he had. The lack is never with him. We are praying for a sudden and total recovery. That is what Jesus said would bring him glory.
