  • please tell me about tire preasure on these rocks!

  • 13psi with no bead-locks, 10psi with.

  • I went camping at Loon Lake as a kid... That would be almost 20 years ago. I had no idea this place even existed! How long is the trail? Where does it start/stop? How long does it take (on average) to do the whole thing? I'll spare you the other 997 questions I have. Thanks!

  • Nice rig

  • Nice video! It gives a good feel for the experience.

I hope to go there in the not too distant future.

    Love your copilot's commentary. ;-)

  • nice vid, no crazy or boring music in the background....but great driving...

  • So ...haha...fierce...

  • It's great ur wife is so suportive of your addiction LOL

  • What size tires were you running when this was filmed?

  • Those are 35 x 12.5 x 18

  • GREAT VIDEO IN BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY

  • Are you locked up? Or just open diff's with the BLD's?

  • She is locked up front and rear now. This was the first trip with front locker. Both are Dana 44's with Rubicon style e-lock.

  • Im thinking of doing a full width axle swap on my Jeep XJ... Are there any places on this trail where full width axles wouldn't fit through?

  • There area couple of tight spots, but you will be fine with full width.

  • thanks for the info i will be down there in may. think i can make it with 35s stock gearing no locker in 86 toyota ifs suspension

  • Do not go alone, make sure someone has a winch, and make sure you have good rock sliders. It will be a struggle for you, but I have seen it done. Be ready to stack rocks too.

  • there is going to be a group of about ten of us. i also have a winch. i will be locked in the rear if i go. i will just have stock gears. i do alot of wheelin at browns camp oregon. its just getting boring going through the same trails over and over. i have done some tripples diamond trails i just wanted to make sure i can make it even if its a struggle it will be fun and new. im always up for a challenge

  • how long did this take you to do the whole trail and can you camp along the trail

  • it takes about 8 hours to do the trail 1 way. Yes, you can camp all over the place. Some really great spots. We usually run the trail bith directions in a weekend.

  • Not as much as you might think. Entire suspension, weels and tires is under 3k. They are all from Rusty's Off Road. The lift is the 3,25" with wheels and tires.

  • nice jk how much lift and what kind is it looks like you spent some serious cash on it

  • my dad got a bacterial infection from that raging river =/

  • my ZR2 doesn't stand a chance!!!

  • 6:54 is an interesting moment! One of many, I'm sure.

Well done! There's nothing like the Rubicon Trail!

  • Yes, that is the tightest spot on the trail. Hit the rock with the fender, glad the are plastic and move easy :)
