Well the video of the flourish is supposed to be white. Then you make a new solid layer, like red... and then put the flourish (Black and white) over the solid color layer, click on the solid layer and choose: luma matte or something like that, just try out different things ;D
I can't import the "fluorish" in adobe AE...why?:((
it says that "the file format module could not parse the file"
