Try to show more grace and enthusiasm in the dance; In the actual game, it was one of the few times you could see a hint of Squall's emotion. Also get the movements right, the close-up embrace at the end was a lot more intimate in the game than the demonstration you guys gave.

And get actual SeeD and Rinoa white/yellow dress costumes
