Anyone here who knows about the MSI P45T-C51? It does away with unnecessary features I don't need (like RAID), fancy heatsinks (I don't OC), etc. It also has solid capacitors. Sadly though, I can't find a review of it anywhere on the Net.

i had this mobo , it died in 7 months, switched it out for gigabyte ud3p, both are good for gaming, the system i had with it core2duo e7200 2.53 oc 2.83 (mobo not good overclocker) with the ud3p i got the core2duo to 3.20 ghz, only downside to this mobo it needs to support xfire or sli other than it dying on me i would have gotten another one but all they had was openboxes so no

I have the MSI P35Neo-f is a pretty good and cheap MOBO, it rocks. I have my e8400 overclocked to 3800mhz and a 1700FSB, it's pretty stable. ;)

sure its ok, u can run all the game with minimum frame rate, try to oc ur q6600 at 3.0ghz but monitor the temp.

This is basically the same board as P43 Neo3-FR, which costs around 20e less!

I am not sure if it uses 2-phase power or if there are OC jumpers on the board but it doesn't really matter.

If you have been looking for Asus P5Q, go for P43 Neo3-FR and save around 30 euros (~43 dollars)! The overclocking abilities may not also be as good but youll do fine with this board!

the new photoshop is GPU accellerated its not released OFFICIALLY yet but its miles faster than CS3 so id advise your friend to get a high end GPU

i agree, i have a msi k9n4 sli-f mobo and does not support the 6000 series amd chips, the fan is REAL LOUD!!!!!!!!!! i had a msi 8800gtoc and it artifacted bad, and the fan speed never went up in game... msi can blow my penis. BFG is where im stick at with video cards from now on.
