That's because Grease 2 is 'cleaner' than Grease 1. Grease 1 has mentionings about pregancy, smoking and other stuff and reckless love. Grease 2 is more about finding [mysterious] love.

@JazzyTee89 my favourite song in Grease 2 too... Grease 2 has a few really good songs, but somehow the cast didn't have the same chemistry as the cast in Grease. Grease 2 is lacking something, I don't feel all swept up in the music and the storyline like in Grease. Maybe because Grease 2 has huge shoes to fill, seeing how Grease is one of the most famous musicals ever.
