  • 1,000,000+ views? ONLY 1,000,000+ views? IT SHOULD HAVE 1,000,000,000+ views. seriously, wtf? children this day should stop sucking mainstream music dry titties and go back to the full and delicious titties of the 90s.

  • @TheFoqU You're preaching to the choir here. If you're watching this video you obviously know real music.

  • frusciante&flea= sexy beasts probably the most musically connected bandmates of the ninetys til jfs departure, sadly.

  • I loove part 1.02 when he plays those hhigh notes <3

    AAaaahhh awesome!!!

  • He's gritty, he's earthy. I wish I could play like him...

  • his scars werent that bad then

  • Comment removed

  • @KristinaAndDevin um he didnt have a scar on him here, he accumulated them from 93-97 from shooting heroin and cocaine, missing his veins and damaging muscle tissue. a true fan would know that.

  • the bass i soooooo fucking AWSOME FLEA IS THE MAN!!!

I can't stop moving my head when I hear the awsome bass so addictive!

  • got my chilis ticket in today! buzzin

  • JOHN FRUSCIANTE IS THE BEST GUITARIST IN ALL THE WORLD

  • is anthony humping the amps from 0:38 - 0:49? lol

  • HUMILHOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Watch the frusciante solo from Kawasaki then this one and it makes this one look sped up.

  • that flea solo has always been my favourite part of the song

  • stone cold bush,,,

  • oh la wea se paso la raja el solo

  • Hell ov'a killa!

  • Hillel

  • yes sir kiedis sucks with and whitout drugs.

  • omg Anthony is awful live xDDD

  • @IMFLABAGO i'm 18 and i can vouch for what you said, but still it's easier to compose a song in a labtop than it is to grind for 10 years to learn your insrtument truly i.e. paul gilbert(who is still learning) and buckethead (who still thinks he's a bad guitarist), the path to being a musician is harder because you can never stop learning, and i'm just saying that writing a composition in a computer takes some talent but a drummer has to do more just to get the same result. respect musicians.

  • @Jamsessionroom1337 i agree anyone whos knows enough about composition can make an electronic song. but the not anyone can just pick up a guitar and shred.

  • thumbs up if you think flea should get that hair cut back

  • john used to play 10 hrs a day for over 5 years straight. that's why he's one of the best musicians and constantly reinvented himself and been around for so long. same with flea. none of this nowaday one song fuck off with millions pointless lyrics songs. new rhcp album with josh will show people the fucking light!

  • @electric417 I honestly think John played better back then.

  • okieismzpq

  • Best Guitarist and Bassist put together.

  • So tight

  • I'd give my left ball if they play this song in the next tour. no joke.

  • @everlyredhot their touring tomorrow.... I got my knife ready LMAO

  • Great Flea and Frusciante.............OLD TIMES.

  • When Frusciante is fucking the guitar, Anthony is fucking the amps backwards. Check it out.

  • Amazing solo. Terrible camaramen.

  • frusciante just matched his voice and the bent note from the guitar that is bad ass.

  • I think that somewhere in the world a tiny marshall amp is looking to his father ahhaha

    Amazing video :)

  • 9409000

  • no saddle hillel was dead

  • The reason why kids from yesterday think music from today sucks is because theirs no passion.

You see people from yesterday going 10 to 20 years just to learn an instrument to sound good for a 3 or 5 minute song. Kids today don't want to do that because they never learned patience and respect they all want to make a sample of everything use a computer to make the sound they want, and they still have the decency to make the lyrics absolutely meaningless.

  • @Jamsessionroom1337 ur right dude kids now a days do like shitty musics

.. F.Y.I im just 15 years old but i love RHCP very much..

  • @Jamsessionroom1337

you're an ignorant idiot. i am a "kid of today"; i'm 20 years old, play bass since 10 years, and do Jazz, funk, latin, rock and soul and all the other stuff. there's a lot of good music today. and yes a lot of shitty music, too. but listen to "your time" there was a lot of shit back then, and in the future there will be a lot of shit, too. there has always been good and bad music. live with that.

  • You're the ignorant idiot, first your ignorant because you think i'm some 40 year old whining about justin bieber or anything that is of relevance to tweens, second you think i don't know that in the future there will be bad and good music like in the past.

You're telling me shit i already know, but the reason why YOU and ME come back for this music is because it has passion and it's not just brought out to make sales, people want to be rich and famous now, they don't wanna be musicians.

  • @Jamsessionroom1337

well the reason, i came back to this is because it's good music, and i like it. not because i feel that "music of today" totally lacks feel. grow some balls and show some pride for your own generation. you wanna hear some good music of today? then listen to aloe black. best example that music can still be pop and sale AND have character and feel.

  • @CptChaos88 My life isn't gonna be prideful of a generation as shallow and as meaningless as this one.

Fuck my generation if anything. Our lives are different, go your way i'll go mine. I don't care about what you think i should listen to man, and i'm saying that without any bitterness i'm just stating that, nothing personal dude.

  • @Jamsessionroom1337 @Jamsessionroom1337 i dont like that comment. You say 'kids' as if you're referring to everyone. i believe that todays musics balls, but to say we have no patience and we cant be bothered learning and instrument is very VERY niave. im 15, and im a massive fan of chilis. I play drums , bass and electric guitar to a decent standard and im in love with music. Non of the music i listen to is from now, its all from yesteryear, like the ninties or eighties.

  • @Jamsessionroom1337 and i have many friends who are exactly the same. my best mate hates modern crap, so please stop generalising.

  • @joshdh95 I'm not generalizing, you are.

  • @Jamsessionroom1337 your making a pretty big assumption about a relitively big percentage of the population there.! check on a band called whifflefit and you will see what some of us 'kids today' do.!

  • @macmunchcin Why is that whenever people see an opinion that is popular they take it like i'm trying to take over the world with my words? if you disagree just say so but YOU ARE the one who is assuming. I'm 18 i'm not some 40 year old as iv'e said numerous times if you had the decency to check on more than just the top comments, , atleast check the ones that aren't thumbed up so you can the full side of the story, again A OPINION CAN'T HURT YOU, STOP BEING SO OFFENDED!

  • @Jamsessionroom1337 you generalised mate.!you cant get pissed at anyone getting offended by that, your putting the kids that actually try at music and actually can express themselves through it in the same category as people who would make the bass go boom and thinks its art.! cause that is pretty offensive.! i couldn't be arsed checking the rest of the comments, I'm hear to listen to music. not to fools like you who think music is dead just cause it aint mainstream anymore.

  • @macmunchcin God i hate idiots like you who assume a bunch of bullshit. First, that isn't me criticizing anyone. It's me making an analyzed opinion of why people like music from yesterday more.

My opinion is suppose to be taken from a first person omniscient point of view. There's no argument, keep your fucking opinion to yourself next time then, people are always nit picking at the person who does things right, why don't you go criticize someone thinking something wrong for a change?

  • @Jamsessionroom1337 you are a fool man you said something completely wrong.! . .your a hyporcrite to. . NOW LISTEN TO THE F*CKING MUSIC AND SHUT UP.!!!! i couldn't be bothered dealing with pieces of shit like you.!

  • @Jamsessionroom1337 I am 13 and I believe music back then has more meaning than the AutoTune shit we have now a days :( It is ashame kids are fucking idiots for not liking this amazing stuff!

  • @WelcomeWakinyan I don't think anybody cares what age you are. You are not some kind of unique snowflake withing a generation who listen to shit. Just listen to the music and enjoy it, and appreciated the fact that you have found it.

  • @cerealboxcar Calm down young one.

  • @WelcomeWakinyan I'm not having a go man, I am just saying. It doesn't matter what age you are, and coming here trying to impress people by showing them you are different comes across as a little pretentious. Just listen to the tunes man.

  • Amazing! this video makes me wanna play bass, guitar, drums and sing all together! great baaaaaand

  • Flea can play, plain and simple. I love this little solo here live, it is a little nasty and not all polished. Love his style of playing, it is mastery of his instrument.

  • haha 0:33 Anthony starts humping the amps

  • @hippidyhoffider hi hoffy

  • @hippidyhoffider He humped them so hard the crew had to come out and straighten them

  • they were amazing back then. too bad they werent able to play at that level ever again...

  • anyone who can not tell john frusciante from hillel slovak is an idiot besides this is from 1990 hillel had already passed away WE LOVE YOU HILLEL R.I.P.

  • johns trill fill made me cum

  • why does every teenager have to point out that this is better than todays autotune shit...REALLY ...thats genius

  • @timothylmccarthy1 because it's what's going on today and a lot of our peers still don't get it :\

  • I miss John having pink hair and Flea having....Wait, what is that?? lol

  • lol anthony fucks the amps, then the roadies jump in to clean up the mess!

  • PADAMPAHPAHDAH!!! to the dislikers!

  • i love it how john mouths with his guitar

  • Everybody always overlooks Chad Smith, so I'd just like to take this moment to mention how awesome he is! :D

  • wats all that guitar doin in there? i want to hear flea! just kiddin though i love john 2

  • wats all that guitar doin in there? i want to hear flea!

  • that solo rocked my ass so hard.

  • Flea is bad ass on that damn bass

  • If aliens watched this they'd think this is like some sort of ritual.

  • @UhMysteryGuest it is kind of a ritual... a really really good ritual!

  • @dia0cero0

This is NOT John Frusciante! This is an Earlier Gutiarist who was in the band til BLood Sugar Sex Magic Album! John came when the Band made the album Californication. Im not from USA im from Hungary, from Europe but im a big RHCP fan FRom the age of 15.

  • @MrAmade11

Err, yes it is. John Frusciante joined the band in 1988, BEFORE the Mother's Milk album was recorded (in 1989), which is where the song "Stone Cold Bush" comes from. John's name is on the songwriting credits for the song, and he is clearly visible in the photos on both the front and rear of the Mother's Milk album cover...

  • @MrAmade11 @Foozwah , And then Frusciante quit in like 1992(?) after recording Blood Sugar Sex Magik and went into deep heroinaddiction. Getting clean in like 1997(once again: ?) and rejoined the band before recording californication. The guitaris before Frusciante was Hillel Slovak which died from an overdose in 1988 resulting in Frusciantes joining.

  • @MrAmade11 Are you trolling ? :P

  • @MrAmade11 you're stupid,. This IS John F. And he was the guitarist on Blood Sugar

  • @MrAmade11 you don't know what your talking about, John was already in the band when they did Mother's Milk and BSSM, then he left the band, and Dave Navarro recorded guitar for One Hot Minute, but then Frusciante came back and they did Californication, By the way and Stadium Arcadium, and now he's gone once more, pitty...don't call yourself a "big RHCP fan" of you don't know all that...

  • @MrAmade11 Well then Hungary must have another Red Hot Chili Peppers

  • @MrAmade11 i hate people like you who think they know everything about the red hot chili peppers when you've got your facts completely wrong and look like a fucking idiot. can you please get your facts straight before posting shitty comments

  • @MrAmade11

    Man !This is not RHCP...lol

  • @kakuify ahah yee it is.. + Read the title.

  • @guytwomany

Ow my good, do you know irony?

  • damn, that singer is shit

  • my expression was like...=O..then my dad came and listened..then his expression was =O too...my 8 year old bro came and listened too..he was like fuck yeah! and my mum heard and she was like..=O one whole family.

  • Fuck yeahhh!!!!

  • @ALBAMMMM haha!

  • what song is this!

  • @supermarioslinger stone cold bush

  • does anyone else notice that all guitarists make faces as if they are making the same sound as the guitar?

  • @therobotFrom94 its hard to resist doing that

  • Hey Mcfly!!(c):)))

  • John left the band after this gig, if Im right XD

  • @hellscream445 you are wrong. by this time. blood sugar sex majic hadn't been released.

  • @Mechanicaldrugs98 oh yeah, this is 1990

  • @hellscream445 John left the band two years later.

  • @goldenhopper i would give it an 11 out of 10

  • God I wish if I didn't saw this, now I wish if I can die now, cause there is no way that that bieebber shit gets more views that's that hot chili :(

  • great hairstyle:D

  • they have evolved a LOT

    john moves

    anthonys look and voice

    the bands sound

but chad and flea they are as crazy as they was back in that day

  • @SebaChannel

If anything I think john moves a bit less now (or at least when he was in the band, so to speak)...

he's using the wah-pedal alot, especially in the beginning of the solo, so he has to stay near there.

especially after by the way, he was ground to and near the microphone to do his background vocals.

  • flea wth u just made me SO FUCKIN JALEAUS or something

  • This video reeks of the 80's....

  • Comment removed

  • pleaseee, who pedal use jhon in this sol0?????

  • @weekendchannel2

    i think its wah

  • @weekendchannel2

    John Frusciante uses:

    - Boss Ds-2 Turbo Distortion

    - Ibanez WH10

  • @weekendchannel2

he is using a wah-pedal. he is known for using an ibanez wh10v2 pedal, though he does in fact like to use other ones. that's his go to wah pedal though

  • @koolmaaan wh-10, not the v2. he's probably got a dozen originals.

  • @ryanliamg lol I believe if anybody would have 10 originals of those babies it would be him.

his guitar collection alone is probably worth over 100 thousand easily.... not accounting for how much they are worth just because of the fact that they were played by him.

  • @ryanliamg Yeah, its definetly the original, i think he uses an Dimebag 'Crybaby from Hell' now (:

  • John nailed that solo that he de-tuned his guitar.I came.

  • @IgotwoodXx I always thought that was hillel, i thought it was too different than john but i guess it is him, and he got that octopus tattoo to promote the mother's milk album but nvm

  • @southshorebits I thought he got the octopus tattoo done after their first tour together?

  • Comment removed

  • Some mp3 of this song ?

  • Comment removed

  • @southshorebits youve got eyes? it is john....

  • @southshorebits Stone cold bush is off Mother's Milk.. which was released in 1989.. their first album with JOHN FRUSCIANTE so quite clearly it is John.. know your stuff man!

  • And it was THIS video right here that made me want to become a Punkalistic, Funkaholic, Dirt-eating, Rock and Roller Bass Player. God I loved those days...

  • i came.

  • ejaculation complete

  • this is why the peppers kick ass, and todays auotune bullshit is not real music.

  • Flea has broccoli on his head.

  • @gabbyakabaggy hahahahha that was funny

  • @gabbyakabaggy Made me fucking laugh haha

  • @gabbyakabaggy it seems to me a ananas

  • Check out that first video response..wow :O

    Love it!

    =)

  • 0:00 - 1:13

    WTF???

  • 1:00-1:01

    DAMM!

  • They don't make em like this anymore

  • lol humping johns amp at 38:00 xD

  • @MLplayer78 LMAO then the techs are like checking if they're alright LOL

  • @MLplayer78 hahahhahahhaa no body noticed that

  • @MLplayer78 I was too busy watching John. Lol...

  • Damn this is cool!

  • Does anyone know how John Frusciante gets that effect at 0:46 ?

Also, what's the technique he's doing at 0:59 ? Is he just playing on the fretboard, or is he tapping with his pick, or what?

  • @GreyJay69 PS - I know he's bending the string behind the nut... How is he getting the note to ring out without touching the guitar though?

  • ill never get tierd of fleas hair

  • The definition of balls out energy. Nobody's ever done it like the Chilis.

  • hahaha keidis is humping johns amp while hes playing his solo. you can see the tech guys come out to fix the mics

  • I bet Flea's neck was hurting after that solo

  • so many energy lost in the way...

  • Does anybody know what John does from 0:45 to 0:48? He plays a note, then raises the guitar, and it sounds like a bend?? I can't figure out at all, somebody please tell me!

  • @peu239 Right after the nut towards the headstock he bends the string down.

  • @peu239 i think he hit a natural harmonic (made stronger by the amps overdrive) and then raised it by pushing down on the string behind the headstock like peu239 said.

  • damn, John's hair looks sick!! xD lol

  • I love the tapping thing he does at 1:00. So easy, yet fitted so well and sounded so cool.

  • @BeezleBoy Does anyone know exactly what he does there? it doesn't sound too easy but I hope your right!

  • @BloodySock What? You mean the touch harmonic he does and bends it behind the headstock?

  • 0:49 is cool. The drum fill and the guitarist swinging his guitar went together perfect.

  • @BeezleBoy is there a name for that move when guitarist do that?

  • @shoju0099 Yes. It's called the bad ass guitar swing by John Fruitcake or whatever his last name is.

  • my fucking good frusciante was an animal back in the day, absolutely amazing. he was so fucking young too.

  • that doesnt look like john

  • Typical Chili Peppers. Truly funky, great and tight...... until Kiedis starts singing and sounds not unlike a drunken, middle-aged karaoke wannabe.
