This organization encourages the idea of height as a feature for the public to come and see. You have good intentions using the attention you would get anyway for a good cause, but, tall people without your influence will always be considered a bit of a freak show; an attraction to stare and take pictures with. By allowing people to do this you're saying that this is acceptable behaviour. That if you're a tall person, that makes you a feature and people are allowed to treat you as one.

Huh??? ...Many of you people are simply delusional ...and so are these women. Not a single one of them qualifies as "beautiful". This term is being too loosely used and inappropriately applied to these "somewhat attractive" but yet far from "beautiful" women. There is only ONE who might (barely) qualify as beautiful. Most of them are about average or slightly above ...at best. GEESH!!!!!!!!

@sixfourblond64 No, he's not a creep. He had a lot of tall female friends, and created the group to empower tall women. He arranges for them to do charity work and make special appearances. Besides, there's nothing wrong with being short. I am tall and have a lot of guy friends that are shorter than me. They are a lot of fun to hang out with, and they love being surrounded by tall women.

Life for a lady who is 6' feet or more it not always easy.

Even in modeling, women who are considered TOO TALL very rarely catwalk for major designers.

There are always exceptions, but, for instance, how many female model 6'2" or more have you seen catwakling at Fashion Week?

I completely agree with you, I'm 6ft and very slim and have always been told that I'm too tall for modeling. My height has always put me at a disadvantage, for instance I was told at a young age I was too tall to be a dancer and a gymnast.
