  • How is tall ? ahahhahah

  • now do full hd one

  • When I get high thats what I see

  • ROLLING TOY :D

  • Take me to your leader oh mystical cube.

  • Mother of god..

  • No life......

  • i expected an all dislike video

  • It 'd be nice if the wire 's transparent

  • Gods disco ball

  • the matrix?

  • I wanna try and make one of these, but smaller, for my room.

Is there anyone who can tell me how can I program ti to do what I want?

Which program may I use? ( Just need info about software )

    Thanks in advance!

  • @nSalekz let me know if you got any help im looking for some help also

  • probably you'll be seeing alot of this in LAS VEGAS.

  • "My logic is undeniable!"

  • les futurs écran TV sont là ...

  • That thing is really cool

  • I think this could be the future of holographic! (not sure :\)

  • this is the first step towards holograms

  • @pitifulpotato I think intel or microsoft already invented them.

  • @ricardorochaharo I think it was some random Japanese company :p

  • nice, now program some porn.

  • Help my obi wan, you're my only hope.

  • That would be a sick equalizer

  • Comment removed

  • @Ruttie2 BTW, painting me with the 'moron' brush when only you have said anything false is ALSO backfiring.

Try to say something smart this time, K?

  • program someone to stand and wave at us from within it!

    modern day hologram

  • @llsoonbedead Seriously! They could totally program a version of the "red queen" from Resident Evil!

  • oh.my.god.

  • This is how were going to start watching tv

  • Start this video, pause, open a new Youtube tab, search "Barbie Girl", Click that video and get back to the pretty lights! :D

  • I think ruttie2 is right

  • Music Pleas!!

  • thats the new 3d technologie

  • Feedeth not yon trolls.

  • These are leds and it's fairly easy to do, the only problem here is the software, everything else just takes time to make

  • Wo kriegt man Son Ding her ?

  • o_______________________o

  • Does it run Minecraft? Seems to be the perfect size for Tiny render distance.

  • I'd like to connect it to a microphone and than fart in that mic. to have it react to my farting sounds.

  • does siri lives in it???

  • das muss man doch irre werden ^^

  • Pffff, LED cube displays will never be the next-gen of displays for several reasons: 1. It's too big and takes too much space 2. It's physical and 3. Watching videos on it will be impossible... BTW, they already managed to do this is mid air. Why not check my holographic floating projections some day? Now that's the future! (When it's done ofcourse)

  • @Ruttie2 Cubes won't fly, but a multi-layer LED display can provide real 3D without being as thick as it is tall, which avoids objections 1 and 3.

Your second objection is weird; are there people developing supernatural displays?

  • @Tommymaq No, you see it's not leds. It uses laser charges and rotates incredibly rapid, making it look fully 3D, because our eyes simply can't catch up. Check it out: watch?v=KfVS-npfVuY Now i personally don't like this display either, what we need is a holographic display, floating in mid air.

  • @Ruttie2 Lasers ... are physical.

Floating holographic displays have been around for decades. Wonder what has held up their development?

    -Tom

  • @Tommymaq ROFL No they're not! Here for decades!? Aahahahahaha! You don't know what you're fucking talking about, we can't combine real holography with digital video yet, we haven't even figured that out, dumbshit.

    -The King

  • @Ruttie2 Changing the topic is dishonest.

I first saw floating holographic displays at the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago in 1976. You can see one in "Logans Run." They have been commercially available as novelties since the late 80's. They were crappy and quite limited, but they existed.

Perhaps you should grow some honest curiosity about why they haven't developed further. Honest curiosity might also prevent you from projecting your ignorance onto other people.

  • @Ruttie2 "3D floating holographic display" returns 1.9 million hits on Google.

You better get busy correcting all those websites that "don't know what you're fucking talking about."

Off you go! Run along now.

  • @Tommymaq Those are not floating, those are either flat projections on windows or hot air static holographic images. I mean holographic projections.

  • @Ruttie2 A summary dismissal without any actual investigation is the OPPOSITE of the honest curiosity I recommended.

Your claim was FALSE. Projections of holograms onto a 360 degree screen have existed for DECADES.

Now perhaps you are using the words in an idiosyncratic way that keeps you from communicating well - maybe you actually mean something different than what you said, but, as before, that would only only prove you to be the one who doesn't know what he's talking about.

  • @ Ruttie2

Here is one operating real time in...1976

    watch?v=q0Amt30_QVQ

Live and learn. Try not to be such an ass the next time you are learning - it will help you learn faster.

  • i wanna walk through it..oh wait -____-

  • THis is the future

  • @fm2h3 No it isn't.

  • overwhelming

  • Probably only impressive in 3D ...

  • fake

  • You would sizzle if you touched these wires.

  • My logic is undeniable

  • It's called a voxel, not a pixel.

  • Can I watch my porn videos on it?

  • i want to buy one . where can i get it from ?

  • @robthatguyx It would take a very long time.

  • Led's don't burn out.

  • @dmelc9

  • @dmelc9 to much voltage they do and in time they do just a very very long time

  • cho xin code ban oy

  • i wonder how bad it would be if the lights somewhere inthe middle burned out

  • @3randomers3 Lol, Yeah.

  • I want to play video games on this...forget edge lit or full array gimme this bad boy.

  • this is what tvs will look like in the future

  • Viel spaß beim LED wechseln wenn mal eine kaputt ist :)

  • that must be a bitch to change the bulbs :L

  • this is VIKI : I ;; ROBOT !!!!!

    DEAR GOD .....

  • i swear thats the computer out of i robot

  • looks like VIKI from I, Robot

  • who was creating sound effects in their head

  • scottsdale mint, thought id recognized ya!!!!!!

  • Looks Like A Futuristic Sci-Fi Visual Computer Algorithm. :)

  • wow i have to have this for next christmas.. im going to shut down my whole street when i place this in my front yard

  • @chriswatson26 lol, that would b insane but freakin awesome

  • I built this model, look up The Mint in Scottsdale az

  • fuck! I'll totally propose that as a project on my career D=

  • pretty much invented holograms

  • I wanna watch some porn on that bad boy!!!

  • so thats a Zordon from PowerRangers!

  • hàng khủng

  • ehh.. stop your lagging this planet!

  • Holy Shit! Somewhere in the middle there's a LED not working o_o GO DIG FOR IT! :-D YEAH

  • Y U NO PUT BASS MUSIC IN THIS VID !?

  • You know those lamps that attract insects and then kill them? This is like that, but for people LOL

  • Can't do THAT with an "Energy-saving" Light bulb, can you?

  • @3randomers3 LEDs don't burn out very often... And I'm pretty sure he would have a failsafe so that each individual light has its own power source. Much like a modern christmas light string

  • 200 X 200 X 200, HD 3D TV O.o

  • Can you watch a Twilight Saga on it ?

  • Omfg

  • on 0:37 earth is mirrored and rotates backwards!!!

    the world's end is near!!!

  • Mother of Santa....

  • hmm... idea: 3D video games.

  • can you make a face moving in this cube??

  • is this the same principle to an LED TV?

  • @newENIO11 noman... an led tv hat amoled's inside and a often a little backlight cause the amoled itself is not bright enough... there aren't single led's like this...

  • I want to put a hole in the middle to sit in!

  • imagine being high while watchin this!

  • I think they should make dubstep videos with these. :D

  • how is it not being crushed under it own weight is my qeustion.

  • @killmanguy5 It's probably hanging from the top.

  • will it play minecraft

  • holograms.. almost

  • Acho que deu trabalho ;)

  • 3D TV

  • Imagine, someone walks into it by mistake...

  • Combine this with transparent OLED...that is the future to holographic TV !!!

  • Someone call Zordon on that thing.

  • magnifico

  • dear santa....

  • I will pay you a large amount of money for this. I promise.

  • Dear santa!

  • no music no party hard no fun

  • imagine That in a party Rock!!!!

  • i bet this would scare house robbers...they would pop them seizures lol

  • O.O

  • Dear Santa....

  • Dear Santa...

Want to pay my elictricion bill?

  • my eyes were just raped

  • Wh--Why?

  • dear santa...

  • This makes me think of the "Party Boy" theme music...

  • Programming that thing must be a bitch...

  • Awesome Job . i was shocked when i saw this led cube . amm terrycome i got now a job for 5x5x5 Led cube with 89c052 proccesor could u help me a bit with that i mean tuts or something like this would be great

  • Give me 5 hits of LSD and stick me in the middle of that thing.

  • All you people arguing about how many HDMI cables and the like it would take to run this. The simple answer is this would be run off nothing more than a CAT5/6 cable run back to a processor. How I know, I program LED screens and creations for a living.

  • @pokey626 Aren't you just the bees knees.

  • cooolest freeekin' light fitting ever? :D

  • I WANT ONE!

  • Can somebody please tell me what "but will it blend" means?

  • @vLiTHiuMx youtube it

  • China or japan

  • when electrical engineers get bored....

  • made in china?

  • This thing draws an amount of around thousand watts, so it means that this cube as an Full-HD 3D "monitor" would produce a ridicculous amount of amperage... one efficient LED requires 0.01A at 3.3V. 1920x1920x1080 LEDs would be 39.8 MEGA-AMPERE, how can sby without a private nuclear reactor afford something like this... you probably would burn your entire housing area... at least you'd have a very EFFICIENT LED-screen lol

  • who ever made this you have too much time on your hands :D but it is epic!

  • like ,very like

  • Besides you COULDNT have a 1080 cube. how would u see into it?

  • In a HD1080P HDTV is 24 bits per pixel.

Pixel density of 250 pixels per inch

    so lets a a 4*4*4 foot cube. = 48*48*48 inches

    or 12,000*12,000*12,000 pixels = 1728BILLION pixels

    1728 billion * 24 bites =41.5 trillion bytes= about 38 TERABYTES OF DATA!

  • the correct term is "voxel", not pixel.

  • say goodbye lava lamps

  • now plug in battlefield 3

  • Fireworks are lot cheaper and lot funnier still :)

  • 10 people have epilepse

  • better than Blackpool lol

  • oh shit the central LED is burnt

  • @twohandtap oh well, then they are only abs(SHORT_MIN) leds. hahaha.

  • @twohandtap There's only one thing that could be worse...if one light burnt out and it was connected in series.

  • @twohandtap 32^3 doesnt have a central led

  • @ezpwnd Ok now Im relieved!

  • @ezpwnd yup it has a central cube of 8 leds

  • This will be in theaters in the next 10 years

  • Would be hard to get a wood on, if someone made a pr0n for this format....

  • First step to holograms.

  • but will it blend?

  • @BestDressed1three

seen this on a few videos and im confused by what that means...explain?

  • @TheTycarroll just search youtube for will it blend and enjoy

  • @BestDressed1three isnt it a bit too big to blend?

  • @Ben10BountyHunters10 after inflating, it's not

  • I once built a 3x3x3 version of this which measured like 2x2x2 inches or so and that already was kinda hard to built and the worst part was, when I realized, that the led in the very middle was broken -.-'

I think using the tv LEDs wouldn't work, since they can only project to a 180 degree radius, but nice idea

  • Hmm....what happens if the solder breaks on a connection towards the center....that'd be hell to fix.

  • Dear Santa........

  • Umm .. i think this is minecraft poket edition , release date : 2099
