Yes, it does take guts to change a position, an Admirable & Necessary quality. Any intelligent dependable person is flexible. If there was ever a Universal law this is it..Change. Everything changes. Imho, anyone whom can not change with them will end up in Serious trouble. Rigid breaks.. I am Glad there is ample time to choose a running mate. Because of this dubious admin. whomever is picked 4 VP can make all the difference. But,I vote for John no matter who he picks.

Do we really want ANOTHER stubborn president who refuses to "change his mind" when he is clearly wrong? People who never change their minds are people who aren't listening and growing. I think Edwards is the only Dem candidate that can win the general. I love Obama but I think he will need the experience of this campaign to come back in 2012.

John Edwards needs a moderate-to-conservative VP running mate, such as Harold Ford Jr., to win big in 2008.

John Edwards is the best qualified candidate of them all. He's honest, intelligent, and willing to take on this job but most important of all, he is capable!

I'm glad he made a YouTube video against it, after he voted for it. It does take guts to change one's mind, and I do admire how hard John Edwards campaigns, but it would have taken an actual conscience to sit out this round of running for President because one showed such horrible judgment. This man does not have the foreign policy experience to run this country.
