This part of Wilshire, except for the retail establishment, visually looks the same. I was still single and 27 that year.  Got married the next year but still managed to cruise this part of town.

I watched this the other day, was fascinated, then found myself driving down Stevens Creek Blvd. earlier this evening when this song came on the local Oldies 103.7 station! I looked in my rear-view mirror. Instead of seeing Mustangs, Continentals, Falcons, Roadmasters, Caprices, Thunderbirds, Polaras, and Fleetwoods, I saw Camrys, Civics, Accords, Priuses, Corollas, and more Camrys. Sigh...
