i think the best solution for your problem would be to get a Ethernet splitter adapter. it will allow you to have 2 or 3 plugs in at the same time. hope this helps.

i had a ps3 and didn't like it as much as my xbox. i have since gotten one of the newer xboxs that has the internal wireless adapter and it hasn't had a single problem. the reason so many of the old style xboxs failed was because of a poor design for cooling the vital components. the new xboxs have a much better cooling system and there are very few that have issues.

no offense man but dont do it guys it givs you a sucky connection so go to the two little computers at the bottom and click on them then click your current wireless connection and click on manage nework connections, click on local area connection and hold down control while clicking on wirless network connection, if both are highlighted then right click and click bridge connections, let it load, then it should say network bridge, refer to other comment for the rest!

Hey a little tip for anyone who is having problems connecting, make sure that your ip addresse isn't static, To make it so you can connect go

Network connections > Wireless Network Connection > Properties

Then click on internet protocol (tcp/ip) and select properties

The select everything to automatic

And it should work (Y)(Y)

I am in a predicament. I am at a hotel and am using iBahn, and it will not allow my xbox 360 to access the internet. I think routing it through my computer will fix that, but my computer also uses Ethernet cables to connect to the internet and my computer only has one Ethernet port (or whatever you call the hole that the wire plugs into). so i go and see more info and there it writes

mmaybe its your firewall..i tihnk or maybe you did it wrong.. there should be 1 cable connecting to your modem to ethernet switch..and 1 cable to big rectangele machine to your ethernet switch and 1 ethernet cable connecting to you xbox to your ethernet switch
