  • A siren is 20ft away from my house. It makes me def

  • omg thos por people in the house they must be deaf

  • nice but the spin down was way to long

  • Please, someone tell me how to synth a siren. i have audacity, but don't know what to do:(

  • Im gonna go watch twister now.

  • Is that a tornado on the right of the pic?

  • @CRM09ify i think its the other side to the right.

  • @CRM09ify No i think it's meant to be a shelf cloud

  • i mean do you use a hyper camera for the backround so you just get the backround and the siren in it???

  • how can you make the backround like that without your computer???

  • where did you get the lightning

  • mmmm, 20-20,000 Hz? RMS attack mode!

  • its realy awsome

  • epic lightning animation!!!

  • just sayin i hate synthesized sirens but i like this one :D

  • The only reason that tornado skipping the city and going for that house, is because Justin bieber lives there.

  • i wish i lived in that city. It looks pretty

  • sounds really creepy if you have headphones on which i have on right now 0_o

  • @Welljusthi

I'm gonna get my headphones! :D

  • @lifelineattack :D :j

  • sounds like a real one to me

  • Its gonna suck when people are sleeping in that house.

  • ITS SCARY!!!!!!!

  • sounds great!!

  • what alarm is this exactly like location and date

  • i'd love that to be in my front yard!

  • thats Chicago in the background ! :)

  • Maybe have a moving torando and/or panicking people in the background. a mushroom cloud would be cool, or you could have the siren rotating.

  • /Its a gr8 vid but really you need the siren 2 rotate

  • Wafflecopter!!!!

  • nice long wind-down!

  • The ACA Allertor was introduced sometime between 1960 and 1963 and got axed off the list in 1980.

  • I love tornado sirens for some reason

  • @jonboogy same xP a 11 year old can find it instering,...

  • thats how ours sounds

  • what program is that?

  • audacity.

  • TAKE YOUR EARPLUGS OUT PEOPLE!

  • And the people in the house still havent done anything? They must be deaf not to have heard that!

  • @belmarfilms that is a funny comment good one

  • i like the long wind down

  • BROKEN ROTATOR...LOL!!!

  • you see the nuke sign on the siren>?

  • um... i think thats the "civil defence"logo. lol

  • where can i get the sound?

  • record it and make an mp3? I made the sound using Audacity.

  • wow the tornado needs to make up its mind. "Make a touchdown and desroy thing that get in my way or go back up in the clouds to come back in a month. Hmmm. Well, atleast the sirens are waiting for my next move... Why did they turn it off in the first place?I'm like 7 ft from the ground!"

  • At the end, it looks like it farted

  • u mean sounds like it?

  • lol

  • very nice!

  • Hey Troy I Like Your Synthesized 10/12 Port Allertor And The ACA Allertor Very Nice Drawing Of The Two Siren Very Beautiful If You Have A 3T22 Siren Can You Please Synthesize That For Me. Thanks.

  • I've tried the 3t22 but could never get it right. guitarguy19852 has some AMAZING synthesized 2t22's on his page! They sound almost real!

  • Troy could you please make a 10&12 port synthesized allertor audio file like this one because I would like to here one like that I thankyou if you do Also I like this video nice job

  • I actually already have! Its in my videos on my profile.

  • This Sound is one of the Newer Allertors (1989 - 2002 ). They stopped Making Allertors in 2003. Like the Tone.

  • i *LOVE* the windup!

the "windup" - the revving, growling you hear as the siren begins its tirade - is my FAVORITE part... sounds NICE here!

  • one small problem the ACA allertor is supposed to spin 360 degrees for many times until the siren is done

  • its rotator is broken...

  • nice reply :D

  • lol

  • hey troy...you should try to synthesize your 10/12 port Allertors and upload it on here. that way you have a 9/12 port and a 10/12 port synthesized Allertor.

  • u r an amazing artist and nice high pitch sound :)

  • oh you flatter me. this is actually not my best work. the car was clipart :(

  • i made it using Audacity.

  • Did you draw that Allertor in Paint?

  • sure did!

  • What were the high and low frequencies that the Allertor has? And what range did you use? BTW, great synthed Allertor.

  • well i've forgotten the exact frequencies i used but i would say that 349.228 and 466.164 would be good for the high tones. I'm not sure on the low tones. i guess thats preference. But to make it sound good if you are using the audacity chirp, i would make sure to stay parallel with the high tones.

  • cool better than the synthesized ACA hurricane

  • make it a 10/12 allertor

  • I could say the same of your video...

  • lol its a cartoon lol

  • what is it?

  • did you played it on a keyboard?

  • no i used Audacity 1.3.5. chirp tone generator.

  • good sound how did you make it ?

  • I use Audacity 1.3.5. Theres a selection called chirp in it that creates the up and down sound between 2 hrz settings.

  • The guy living in the house is probably steamed the town built a siren right on his front lawn.

  • is that the tornado in the light grey?

  • well its supposed to be a wall cloud... lol.

  • nice

  • that must suck to have a siren in your yard

  • you could make it better by makeing th siren turn since it is a siren that turns.

  • yes

  • Maybe it's in MY yard :)

  • I found a sign that says " Entering Laurel" in someone's yard

  • what does that have to do with anythin?

  • I've seen a few Whelen 3016 right next to ppl's homes and outside their window too XD

  • Yeah, well, Whelens aren't all that bad to listen to. I mean, they're single-tone, so after awhile they'll simply fade into the back of one's mind (which is not a good thing for a warning siren).

  • Why is it in someone's yard?

  • lol... well... good question. They're really big fans of early warning?

  • they could own the siren. lol.

  • then they'd have to be rich

  • Not really.

  • I wish i had a siren in my yard! I could listen to it all day!!!

  • Whoa, thats cool!

  • how did you synthesize it

  • i used the new audacity beta program. Theres this thing called a chirp generator... not really sure how to explain it but it does the wind up wind down thing. lol.

  • I have audacity and I can't find the Chirp Generator and plus what note is the sound?

  • its the newest Beta version. and i think i used 800 hz and then to make it simple i duplicated it and changed the pitch from C to G

  • thanks i'll use sound forge for the wind up and down. I also found out how you made your hurricane siren.

  • the wind down seems a bit long.

  • I use Audacity too. I used that program to make my 2001 DC video into a few dual tone soundings. Check em out.
