Actually, the media edited out Joes interviews where he read a statement to the fans thanking them for their suport and also answered at leat a dozen questions before he got all emotional and pulled up his assistant to say something. The assistant said the first thing that came to his head, the records they were doing. Joe did not go their to advertise anything. he was swamped by the media and he got fed up.

People need to remember that Michael had issues so did his father they were living in a era of extreme racism.
