Here lads,don't yous think that your bands name is a bit of a mouthful? what about something like 'Republican martyrs' or 'Sons of Erin Memorial'? I like Gaelic triumphalist ones that make reference to our ancestors like Queen Meabh,Brian Boru and Cormac Mac Art and if you lads are from Dublin what about Robert Emmett ? Just a few suggestions,keep her lit!!...TAL...

There used to be a few smaller Republican Flute Bands, each named after a fallen IRA volunteer. Now, they all work as one big band, and share the names of the fallen who they represent.

One of the names, Lisa Bell, is in memory of a band member who was killed in 2001, rather than an IRA volunteer.

Aye but it is still a bit of a mouthful despite the laudible efforts to keep all your band members happy and repect the origins of your band.A more general name in memory of such folk would sound much better...just saying.

cptSternn) I saw these lads and girls. On sunday in Dublin for Sinn Fein's 1916 Parade and all i can say and excuse my language they were fucking brillant. To see them play like that walking down O'Connell St., Dublin to a republican colour party. I never forget. Where in Limerick was this? do you have more of their stuff.
