  • Perfect! I think this will fit the bill just nicely, might just have to get one:)

  • en mexico quien vende???

  • peak GPS speeds of 32knts in 25+knots of wind and flat flat water. Not bad for a recreational all round boat, which isn't built for speed

  • awesome what kinda speeds have you gotten this beast 2

  • Interesting - but one of the great things about Kiteboarding is you don't need a roof rack!

  • It's awsome. I practice buggykiting and kiteboarding for several years and would like to broaden my horizon. Please, let me know how much it cost and where it is possible to buy from.

  • Hi, it's wonderfull prototype!

    It's much interessant.

I would like to build it, can you help me?

Sorry for my bad English, I'm Italian.

    Thanks.

  • Is the quad surfer a prototype? No mention of it with a google search. Seems to have better performance than the cat since the short hulls will plane earlier and will have less wetted surface when underway.

  • Hi MM

Yes, it's a prototype. There's pros and cons with the QuadSurfer. Fast pickup, high top end, light (20kg), tight turning radius. You need at least 20knots with (butter) flat water, at least .7m deep and the upwind performance is lacking. KiteCat on the other hand is all over it with the user-friendliness and excellent performance in all weather conditions and locations.

  • looks like fun for two or three times. btw i like very much the first song, gives me good vibrations.whats the name of it?in some way reminds me to weezer

  • looks cool, butis it not just kite surfing for disabled ppl?

Not really my brother, although that's a nice spin off!

    The KiteCat is ideal for

-40yrs+ not physically fit to meet the demands of kite boarding, just wanting to go for a cruise.

-Explorers looking for a new challenge (Atlantic already crossed with KiteCat by Manu Bertin)

-Sailors that want to get into kite boarding, but see it as too extreme.

-Kite buggy riders looking at something new.

  • 2/3

Low wind areas (below 12knot) where kite boarding is dull, but kite sailing is at it's prime.

Kite Schools/instructors using the KiteCat to progress kite skills in a safe manor, stepping towards kite boarding.

The KiteCat also takes passengers, making it more of a social experience.

For all the kite boarders in the sport today, there's literally thousands who tried it, but got turned off for one reason or another. Perhaps the KiteCat could play a part here...

Sorry for the three entries here, but it was a good question which I thought was best answered in full

  • Do you know if I can find it in Barcelona, Spain?

  • Not that I know of - There's a couple down in Tarifa though.

  • i'm wondering about this, and in kitesurfing in general..

    kiting upwind is possible yes?

  • Yes for sure, Upwind and performance is similar to any other recreational sail boat.

  • i thought it might be a little less effective upwind.. but straight to one side it would be more "power" in a kite..

    thank you:-)

  • can you jump with it?

  • Take a look at lynnkitesailing dot co dot nz

  • fantastic where do i get 1???
