@H1W25K1998 Do the first two then check to see if the disc runs. You don't need any "keys" to do this, part one can be used with a piece of paper and part two can be done with tape or a audio jack. The newer slim models only have these two making this extremely simple.

@shadow9376 Well you could, but it would be no use, as you would need to hot swap to get it to run, just like any burned PS2 game.

I cant get it to work. Ive got three keys installed and it still says not a valid ps2 disk on my copies. apparently i need to install the tool where you open the console BUT THE REASON I BOUGHT IT WAS SO I DIDNT HAVE TO VOID THE WARRANTY. i feel scammed.

1) there's a switch you have to tape down in the back that he didn't show on the video (there are others that do)

2) you have to use swap-magic to make your games work. you get a copy of swap magic, play it, then when you get to the "swap magic" screen, you simply pop your disc tray open and swap it in with your game.

3) you may have burned your game to the wrong media type, in which case you'll have to just use trial and error

Muchas graciaaaaaaaaas!!!!!!!!!!! Hay que aclarar que si tenéis dificultades para poner la pieza 3 es probablemente porque vuestra pieza es torcida, es decir, la segunda pieza (al lado de la bisagra) es inclinada y no recta como muestra el vídeo.

En serio muchas gracias por el vídeo, es de lo mejor que he visto, por no decir el mejor y el único decente, 5 estrellas!!

HOW TO INSTAL 3 PART.

put 1 and 2 normal.Now join cable to ps2. insert cd/dvd on ROM. Run console in open flop

and move 3 part in hole and move it as long as disc start whirl.sry for english :P

Buy swap magic 3.8. You dont need tools or peice. Start swap magic 3.8 disc and wait loading and start backups or import done is easy.

You get 2 disc you buy swap magic 3.8.

DVD - Play playstation 2 import and backups games.

CD - Play playstation 1 imports and backups games.

SEARCH ON GOOGLE SWAP MAGIC 3.8.

Swapmagic 3.8 is best way to play backups/imports games without tools or other. Only put in swapmagic disc wait loading then put in backup or import games and press play so fucking easy.

You don't need to use the tool for the disk stop. Just open your ps2 and tape down the lid open sensor like I did, and put tissue+tape in the bottom right hand sensor. Thats what I did. Works perfectly.

No other parts. The disks and the flip top are all you need...... unless you want to pay no money except buying the disks? You can also mod your playstation with everyday household items. If you want to know how to do that, private message me. I'm guessing you're probably playing a game from another region right? Well, I think ( I don't need that so I don't really know) what you need is a rgb-cable or somehing like that, because you're TV is still used to the NTSC or Pal w/e you have, so that cable is necessary. Unless you're TV can change from PAL to NTSC, çause then that's not necessary. Just change the damn tv installation.
