  • Is the lens universal for all camcorders? I have a JVC HM-3000, would it fit that?

  • @KoolKidKarl2k8 The lens filter size on your JVC HM-3000 is 37mm, so yes this lens would fit your camcorder.

The lens it's self will be universal to all camcorders if they have a lens filter (this is the threads infront of the lens).

But above 43mm lens filters, you would want to look for a lens built for that size, you don't want to have a 37mm lens on a 52mm lens filter.

  • You can try using a CD; there are two notches that you have to insert the CD edges in, and then turn it. Or you can try using a flat blade, but be very VERRY careful.

  • i tryd a cd and the mettle disk is screwd to far into the lens for the cd to get into the notches and whats a flat blade?

  • it's a screwdriver. Mine was fairly tight too.

  • plyers

  • now just flip the top lens over and you have a perfect fisheye

  • I am thinking about doing just that!

  • you are a pure genius!!!!!
