  • Joi is AWESOME! I love her voice and I love this song...Sang gurls...(snap snap, clap stomp and scream)as I throw my hanke thier way....

  • stupid man man lmao i love this song it was the best part cassie was kinda deep though

  • she is an alto/tenor

  • second alto

  • She's an alto...period. No matter if its first or second. I'm not pickin' on either of u (Blackbabylove and Robin) but someone's vocal range is determined by the highest note they can hit from their diaphram. They don't have to be able to sustain that note, they just have to be able to reach it. Trust me, Cassi is a full-on alto.

  • They were not really talking about the range of the singer, but the vocal class that she was in.

You have to consider where the tussitura of a singer lies within their voice.

I can sing the G above Soprano C (G6)to the F two octaves under Middle C (F2). My chest voice goes up to the A under Tenor C and I have no falsetto in my voice.

Though you are somewhat correct in what you are saying, TJCollins, there is some ambiguity.

  • Semantics. LOL. I wasn't making a comment to put anyone on blast or make them appear wrong. I only stated it for the ones that are quick to classify females as tenors just b/c they sing the lowest parts in a duo, trio, etc. Personally, I don't think ANY female is a tenor but I very well may be wrong. And I need u to help me out. Do or don't females have falsettos? AND I classify myself as a baritone but I can hit a B-flat above middle C. Am I really a tenor? Everyone else says that I am.

  • It truly depends on your tessitura, where in your voice, you are strongest and most comfortable.

No female is a TENOR, that is a male classification.

Women who sing a tenor part or has a range and tessitura around a Tenor's is classified as a contralto, low alto.

I believe women can falsettos, but it's more noticable in higher registers, especially whistle register for some. Other then that, they have head voices.

  • simply amazing

  • THIS IS MY FAVORITE SONG FROM THIS PLAY I KEEP IT ON REPEAT...LOL, ESPECIALLY JOI CAMPBELLS PART. HER VOICE IS SO BEAUTIFUL BETTER THAN DEBORAH, BUT MS COX CAN SING TOO (NOT HATING)....BUT BIG UPzzzz JOI!!!! WHERE IS SHE? CASSIE DAVIS IS FUNNY, WITH HER LOW RASPY LOVELY TENOR RANGE....THE HARMONY SOUNDS GOOD DEBORAH IS TRYING TO OUT-SING JOI AND CASSIE BUT JOI STOOD OUT TO ME MORE. THIS SONG IS BY ROBBIE LEWIS? I THINK THAT'S HIS NAME WELL KUDOS!!!! GREAT JOB ON THIS ONE......

  • AGREEED!

  • she can really sang

  • do anybody got the song that deborah cox sung on this paly when she was like say yes or no
