  • what kind of gun do you use??

  • Sorry if you've been asked this before but I love watching your videos, how do you video them? Is there somebody else with you with a camcorder or have you somehow got one attached to your gun? Do you do the commentary afterwards? Thx, keep up the great work!

  • Hey you seem like you know about pellet guns. Can you watch my newest video and help me out?

  • @TontoCollins Well i always like to do my videos like they were a story with a beginning and end and try and explain whats happening as i go.

  • Hi mate - love your videos, there is something really relaxing and natural about them. I admire your ethos of taking everything you kill and not shooting anything that isn't on your permission. keep it up mate

  • @dlagorio Thank you for the nice comment.

  • i love your vids but just curious do you own any guns other than air rifles??

  • @randomkidgibbs Oh I've pulled the trigger on many's a thing over the years.

  • have you ever used a dog, to do the retrieving???.............love the video's, great work.

  • @yusufyusuf27 I am sorry but i have been asked by the farmer to help reduce the number of rabbits as they were eating the grass quicker than it could grow, one field had to be resown twice in the same year.

  • @yusufyusuf27 they can be considered as pests. plus, they're delicious.

  • where do you by your guns from?

  • @Rafe281 I have to buy my guns through a fire arms dealer here in Northern Ireland who brings them over from England.

  • @HuntersVermin ok thank you. P.S. love your vids

  • What time in the day is best for rabbit shooting?

  • @ShootingJHST Sun set and sun rise, thats when they are active

  • @Outdoorhuntandfish Any tips?x

  • @Outdoorhuntandfish Any tips on rabbit shooting?

  • @ShootingJHST Move slow, keep the wind from blowing your scent to him, wear camo they like to hang out around about knee high grass and bushes, stay low and don't be a big black object on a hill against the horizon.

  • Nice shooting brother rabbit. Great to see the Buzzard too,.

  • @Ribbitmefoot Thank you glad you liked it.

  • @HuntersVermin Hey are u in scotland?

  • This reminds me of when I go hunting I use a BB gun like yours I think!! But I dont think its as long and doesn't have a telescope on it!! my picture is my uncles shotgun!!

  • @DavidmatthewLloyd Sorry but i don't use a BB gun, its a pcp powered air rifle in .22cal with 30ft/lb of energy 832fps with 21grain .22cal pellets.

  • People before you make foolish comments take time to watch his other videos. He show's how to field dress the rabbits.

  • Btw, I know it's kind of a hate comment and I dont mean to hate. I just wish people would kill little animals for a reason. And if you do eat those rabbits then I take everything back, and have no problem with what you're doing. If you do dump them, then maybe next time you kill one, try eating it for dinner?

  • @SimplyComplexArts he does man, watch his other vids, i do agree with you but in some cases where rabbit holes break a cows legs they have to go

  • @SimplyComplexArts I always try and use what i shoot for something, I eat the wood pigeons and some of the rabbits i shoot the rest i ether feed to my cats or use as bait for crow and magpie control.

  • @HuntersVermin hi m8 i am a young lad wanting to go hunting but first i have got to buy meself a air rifle i havent got much to spend on a gun so if i was to put 150 to 200 aside for an air rifle what is the best gun i could get for that amount of money bekuz i do really want to go hunting but i dont know too much yet and wud just like to say your vids inspiring

  • @griffin1995123 I have been hunting with air rifles for a while now. One of the best affordable air rifles you can get is a Crosman phantom. a Great powerful hunting rifle for birds, and small mammals. It is 80 bucks on amazon and shoots .177 pellets. I have a short review for it on my channel.

  • @replymycomments thank you very much mate

  • Good vid; you demonstrate good shooting and hunting skills with concern that the quarry is dispatched as humanely as possible.

  • i see you have a jacket of the Netherlands? and you talk Englisch? whaha, and should 4.5 mm just be enough for killing a rabbit?

  • @wouterfolkertsma Yes 4.5 (.177) is fine for rabbits so long as it has about 12ft/lb (15 j) of power.

  • hey is your gun .22 or .177?

  • @somcheez Its a .22cal.

  • i actually admire you doing this. my grandad used to hunt and i wish id learnt from him. do you reckon an air pistol would dispatch of a bird?

  • @JAREDGSPENCER I would say no as most people hunt in the UK with air rifles with about 12ft/lb of power and even the most powerful air pistols are half that power.

  • Nice :)

  • looked like a pretty good day afield.

  • starting sometime february i will be putting vids of myself huntin pest with a airrifle so subscribe to me so ou can see them when they come out

  • how much did your riffle cost? :D

  • @horkot I think the Theoben MFR is about £900.

  • @HuntersVermin thanks

  • Be very very quiet i am hunting wabbit.

  • Very, very nice!!!

  • @bipmia Thanks.

  • u kno u cud shove baking powder in the little hole at the tip of the bullet and blow the whole head off the rabbit...

a gud advice from New Zealand

  • How much did your air gun set you back?

  • @stavers96 I think that the Theoben MFR that i use is about £900.

  • @HuntersVermin why don't you shoot the buzzard?

  • i assume you have a firearms certifcate then if your rifle is 30ft lbs? As such why didn't you buy a rimfire 22?

  • @srspower Yes we need a fire arms licence for any air rifle here in Northern Ireland, plus a high powered air rifle is easier to get a licence for than a .22 rimfire and is safer to use on some of the very small farms i shoot on.

  • @HuntersVermin

Ah i see, in the rest of the UK (i'm in England) you can have an air rifle up to 12ft lbs as long as you are over 18, no FAC needed. I have a air arms s310.

  • Check out my channel. Lots of airgun hunting vids.

  • 30 foot pounds!! ;o Thats Impressive for an air rifle. I wish I could get an underlever with that kind of power.

  • @MrRedeyedJedi Theoben Ltd i think still make a brake barrel air rifle with 30ft/lb called the eliminator.

  • @HuntersVermin Ah I see, that sounds cool. I just prefer the manual cocking air guns to co2.. not too sure why, I guess I just like the fact that it doesnt run out of "steam" Unless the spring or piston wears. Would you say 750 fps with FMJ pointed air rifle pellets is ok for rabbiting?

  • Today I killed a woodpecker, because I couldnt find any squirrels

  • @XxJustinCasexXPSN ive had this one woodpecker ive been hunting for 3 summers now he comes every year i know its the same because he has a very distinctive beak that is curled up, i htink he fell when he was a fledgeling but other then that ive put about 30-50 pellets at him never hit him but i have about 200-300 exotic birds i got in this area.

  • Nice job man!

  • I have some hunting vids on my channel with a .25 cal airgun and some are scopecam kills check them out.

  • Great shots! The fields look amazing there, love to see those shots through a scope cam!

  • @ben44rain Thank you glad you enjoyed it.

  • @HuntersVermin

i will consider on buying a air rifle now

because being on game console is not good for me

and plus its cheaper to go with hunting and i think i shoud get in to it

and plus it looks fun aswell i might take my brother hunting and teach him

how to be on target when i sighted the sights in first

and i will buy another air rifle for him and sight that for him

and go rabbit shooting with him and teach him and buy a camo kit for him

because he needs to get out a bit

  • See, this is how its done properly :)

You cant always get a clean kill, after all, its a rabbit, not a tree.

  • I think you have a really good attitude towards hunting sir, wanting to cause the least amount of suffering possible. I am impressed with your shooting ethic!

  • Good hunting mate. If you don't mind Ide like to respond to some of your viewers comments. I understand some people want to spend less but with an air rifle having less power accuracy is key, you may want to spend bigger dollars for that. A have a walther dominator 1250 that costs 599 American dollars. It's VERY accurate at 90 to 100 meters. And 30 ft lbs. And one great advantage to an air rifle is because they are much quieter than a firearm chances of a second or even 3rd shot are possible.

  • were did you get the air rifle i live in waterford and i dont know were i could get 0ne so could you please tell me

  • @FamasFTW98 Tha place i bought my air rifles is no longer in business but any fire arms dealer will bring in what ever gun you want if they don't have it in stock themselfes. Have a look through the yellow pages for gun dealers in your area.

  • @HuntersVermin thank u so much

  • BUT BUNNIES ARE CUTE

  • @MrMudNugget they're also delicious when prepared properly mmmmmmmm yummy! :D

  • what gun are you useing ?

  • @thewalker524 Its a .22cal 30ft/lb pcp powered Theoben MFR air rifle.

  • that guy is off young apprentice

  • Nice, I have some air rifle videos on my channel for you to watch if you want . Please check them out and leave feedback etc.

  • I think I will stick with air rifles for now, I have struggled enough to get permission as it is.

    thanks for the advice mate.

  • @pauleybezzer999 Your welcome, air rifles are a good way to learn to shot then maybe in time you can move on to other types of rifles.

  • do you find it better using a FAC air rifle or would a .22 rimfire be better for the shooting you do? I heard you mention having the wrong rifle at the time in one of your farm yard shoots when a fox came in to view, do you have a rimfire rifle too? are there benefits to either rifle for hunting such vermin?

I only ask because I am thinking about getting my FAC and thought that a FAC air rifle would be better than a .22 rimfire rifle. is this right or have I got the wrong end of the stick?

  • @pauleybezzer999 It really depends on what you need or intend to use it for, as i have two air rifles one is near 12ft/lb which use in and around farm buildings as the high powered air rifle would only damage property and a rim fire just mad. The 30ft/lb air rifle comes into its own stalking rabbits on small farms with open fields and little cover where there are roads or private houses near by and i don't feel save using a rim fire.

  • would a 50m range gun me decnet for rabbit and bird hunting?

  • @H1CKSEY Yes as most airgun shots with a 12ft/lb rifle are taken from 25-30 yards, at 50m a little more power would be handy but its accuracy that is the key and wheather or not you can shoot accurately enough at that range for a clean kill.

  • @HuntersVermin Thank you, your videos are amazing but one lst thing, does it take a while to become accurate and be able to kill rabbits?

  • @H1CKSEY It depends some people take to it very quickly and others take a lot of practice, but one thing is for sure if you don't keep practicing you will lose the edge very quickly.

  • do u eat your kills our are u doing pest control ?

  • @redbull93769 A bit of both really, but i always try and find a use for what i shoot.

  • Great video mate :)

  • @Muppettheraver Thanks.

  • OMG... poooor rabbits.... nm! :D

and I would like to know: what are you shooting with? What is the power of your rifle?

  • @ppurplehunter Its a .22cal 30ft/lb pcp powered Theoben MFR air rifle.

  • Don't you feel guilty for killing these animals?

  • Nice vids, do you shoot for sport or is it your job?

  • very,very well done

  • I wrote a message before but I don't see it on here I wanted to ask what air gun do you recommend? Also I don't want it to cost me an arm and leg especially for a beginner.

  • I have watched quite a few of your videos and I am now convinced I would like to try rabbit hunting. Your videos are not about blood gore and blowing things away but about good hunting and respect for the animals. I would like to ask for a first time person what air gun would you recommend? I want a powerful one but I don't want to pay way to much either? Any suggestions?

  • @paracordjunky Thanks glad you liked the vids. Have a look at the likes of the Weihrauch HW95k or Webley Stringray, Diana 280 as they have the power for hunting and shouldn't cost too much.

  • what do u do with the rabbits

  • amazing shot on the rabbit but have u ever snapped a rabbits neck

  • Your a great rabbit hunter!

  • @dammitdarrell Thank you.

  • Your videos are excellent! You're a class act when it comes to putting a good, informational hunting video together where hunting ethics are stressed highly on your list of priorities. Kudos!

  • @JaleelJohanson62 Thank you very much for that nice comment.

  • is there recoil from an air rifle

  • @FamasFTW98 There is with the spring powered air rifles but not with the pcp or Co2 powered ones.

  • @HuntersVermin add me now u basically have the same name as me

  • excellent shooting. im looking to upgrade from aspring air rifle and go for a multi shot rifle. what would you suggest, it must be below 12 f/p as i dont have a licence. thanks

  • @bearmwj It really depends on what money you have to spend as there is the likes of the Airarms s410 and 510 the BSA R10 Theoben Rapid Mk1+2 and MFR and the Daystate madels.

  • hay, i would love to get into this sport, could you please give me a rought price on a good but cheap rifle in uk £ what make? thank you so much nice vids subed and liked thanks again.

  • @mutherfucking1989g Have a look at the likes of the HW95k or the Webley Stringray at around the £250 mark.

  • Epic shooting mate

  • @TheMrcarpkid Thank you.

  • Well done mate i use .22 rimfire but same results

  • What kind of gun do you have how much did it cost and What caliber... please reply

  • @ZeetleBeetle I have two a BSA super 10 and a Theoben MFR both in .22cal and both pcp powered, the BSA was about £600 but is no longer made and the Theoben is about £900 for the high powered model i have.

  • this looks exiting, but i gotta find another animal to shoot as we have rabbits as "home" animals here in sweden :(

  • The most respected Hunter on You Tube.Keep your Diaries coming...

  • @1471ization Thank you very much.

  • I like you stye man.

    Good huntingmanship... Respect.

  • @MarqNeqereNBlaq Thank you.

  • That must be fun goin out to a field and just....... having fun, LOVE the video and where is this?

  • @teehee1310 Thank you, i live and hunt in Northern Ireland.

  • If this isnt your land ( im assuming it isnt) how do you approach a framer / land owner about shooting on their land ?

  • @musicman19191 I was asked by a friend to control the rabbits in his garden when i told him the problem was coming from the land around the graden he asked the farmer if i could shoot any rabbits in the fields next to the garden, the farmer told me to shoot as many rabbits as i could and gave me permission over the whole farm.

  • good shooting

  • @knifemaker77 Thanks.

  • holy shit you are an excellent shot! what sort of rifle is that?its so silent too. can a 22 do a good job on rabbits? im actually just getting into shooting and hunting myself but im halfway through applying for my gun license and received my gun safe today :P

  • @happinin Thank you, and if you are talking about a .22 rimfire it is very good for rabbit control but you do have to make sure you shoot safely with it and have a safe back stop for the bullet as .22 rimfires are prone to ricpchets.

  • @HuntersVermin ahh okay no worries :) yeah, it seems like an extremely good air rifle and im actually looking for something like that for my first gun. yeah i get worried about the thought of ricochets but im going to do a firearms safety course beforehand. Thanks for the info :) and sorry about the swearing.

  • @happinin Oh and please don't swear in your comments.

  • That's so crule

  • as a boy i use 2 know a farmer who would give me £1 for every rabbit/bird i shot on his farm..i use to LOVE doing it i was up there 6 in the morning every day walk home with around £20 after a few hours :) great fun and money ..ofcourse i was only like 15 at the time

  • @NateCooper316 why not? it is power full

  • @toxicgas226 no its not.

  • @NateCooper316 well i only have airsoft guns so far but it says that it have 5,7 joiul so it is very power full

  • @toxicgas226 Well it would give some one a real sore ass but you would really need something with about 12ft/lb for huntung with lead air gun pellets.

  • @HuntersVermin what do you mean with 12ft/lb? just so you know i am 11 year old :P and i just wanna know if the hatsan 25 CAN kill a rabbit.

  • hello i am gonna get a air pistol and it is the hatsan 25 and can it kill rabbits or birds? please reply and its a spring one.

  • @toxicgas226 I am sure that there are air pistols out there that are powerful enough to kill the likes of rats and mice at close range but for rabbits etc you would really be better off with an air rifle with about 12ft/lb of energy.

  • Great vid man, im just getting into shooting and hunting.. iv got a webley vulcan .22 with a 4x32 scope.. is this going to be any good for killing rabbit sized game?

  • @MrHeyugay If it can produce about 11.5 ft/lb of energy it will be ok so long as you can shoot accurately with it.

  • I got a 22 air rifle and I want to go hunting but dont know what to do with the animal I killed after wards dont feel like eating it and dont want to kill it and do nothing with it what do you suggest?

  • @MysteriousVlogger maybe u could leave the animal there so a different animal will eat it :)

  • @miniclipgames1 Wouldnt this be frowned upon by the owner cause more animals will come?

  • could i go hunting squirrels and such with a 380fps co2 air revolver?

  • @thebowlzack No 380fps is far too low for hunting you would need something nearer 580fps in .22 or 780fps in .177.

  • @HuntersVermin alright thanks

  • Great video!

  • @captainlaredo Thanks.

  • Nice video mate! I just got a .177 Cal. air rifle that shoots at 1000 fps. Think that'll do? I'm itching to go small game hunting!

  • @Kennyiavh Yes that should be fine for rabbit sized game.

  • how much was your gun?

  • @MrMilanROX I think the Theoben MFR that i have is about £900 for the high powered modle.

  • i love your hunting videos, what equipment do u use? im from co clare and used to hunt alot back there but i now live in london and am looking into getting back into it but i want a good air rifle, what would u recommend?

  • @richieblade1980 Well i use two pcp powered air rifles a BSA super 10 and a Theoben MFR but a good spring powered air rifle like a Weihrauch HW95 or a Webley Stringray would make a good starter without spending a lot of money.

  • I have another question. Do you know if a .177 pellet gun that goes 1200 feet per second enough to take down a rabbit?

  • @Abven9 Yes that is plenty as most people who hunt with a .177 in the UK are happy with about 780fps.

  • @Abven9

Hi my friend, experts recomend that you never go up to 1200fps. In order to keep the pellet´s speed down you have to use heavy pellets, and it will also improve your pellet energy, and that is the most important thing, "the energy". and i thing most experts would agree that you can kill easily a rabbit with your rifle. Good luck and good hunt.

  • Nice shot btw always remember: you kill it u eat it (maybe sell it)

  • Very nice hunting video, even pro hunting video is nothing compare to yours.

    Keep them coming,

  • The gun is an .22 or .177?

  • dude man u are a good shooter

  • You wear a Nederlands .. uuh jacked (sorry for the bad English)

Have you buy it on the war and peace show?

  • @crossers125 I bought it from an army surplus store here in Northern Ireland.

  • Shhh i'm hunting wabbits

  • is rabbit hunting in farmer fields best?

  • @quikskope123 There can be more rabbits in open farm fields but there is much less cover to use to stalk closer.

  • @HuntersVermin so if im just going for a few rabbits, stay as quiet as possible?

  • @quikskope123 Yes its movement and noise that animals spot not weather or not you have the newest camo design on. And always try and stalk into the wind to help stop the rabbits from smelling you.

  • @HuntersVermin how do u rabbit call???
