i have the sims 2 deluxe and when i dowloaded the clothes hair etc.. it wouldnt show up in my game :-( and i also used winrar.

you have to make sure that the stuff you download doesn't require specific expansion packs , and the thing you download paste it in the Download file and make sure to download file called ( mesh ) with each item you download ... hope this would be helpful

I downloaded clothes , hair and other stuff from the net , there is many websites for the sims2
