SVD during it's time was issued as a sniper, yet by today's standards it would be a DMR. Pretty much the rest are either simple mistakes or changes made for gun balance. He's basing all of his ideas off of softcore gameplay, where it won't be realistic. Go to Hardcore for that. Everything else is just balance for gameplay.
The size of the round doesnt determine what class it falls into, If you wanna be picky I could say that the P90 is actually a PDW (Personal Defence Weapon,) Which is what the makers FN, said it was made for.

Well the Dragunov is labeled "Sniper" because it has the scope, with that the he M16 can be used as a sniper as can most weapons. You mention the claymores not killing mates but dont mention the magic glowing lights and lack of a trip wire.lol goog game regardless but yea
the acog thing is not wrong it has three knobs 2 for syning and 1 for switching on and off the laser so the one you see on the left is the laser control
@Spokengro By laser you mean illuminated reticle? Your partly right, there is a third dial for this that is on the left side, although the one in the game is the windage dial that should be on the right. The dial that should be on the left is completly different from windage and elevation dials.
The m82A1 or "Berrett .50 Cal" doesn't have much recoil. The barrel is made to move back to absorb a large amount of recoil, the supressor is also, and the sheer weight of the rifle lowers its recoil. Where am I getting at? It can be fired when standing, easily, its just hard to keep it steady due to its weight being 30 pounds. and a lot of the "mistakes" were intentional for gameplay purposes, like the silly claymore "issue".

This is what I have to keep telling myself while playing CSS. "It's just a video game." Heck, in CSS if you want your AK and M4 to eject from the correct side and such you have to set your stance up to shoot left handed. The game designers do this because they want to show off their fancy designs. So things that should be on the outside out of view suddenly get turned around to be seen. To be fair in single player the G3 is FA, they just changed it to semi to balance online play.
The M87 Barratt fires the 12.7mm i.e .50 bullet, its by no means a tank shell and doesnt explode on impact, the rifle has little uses other than stopping light viechles and is well and truly overated by gamers.
Really the barret can fire an explosive round, The .50 BMG Incendiary! It was used in aircraft durring WW2, Korea (P-51and F-86 had 6 .50 BMGs) , and Nam untill the 20mm M61 Vulcan Cannon was adopted. It is now used in the .50 BMG rifles as an anti light armour round (LAVs, Jeeps, Technicals, IFVs, and BMPs) but it is not a tank shell as he/she stated though the M2 .50 BMG commonly mounted as the top gun on an Abrams tank or Bradley Fighting Vehicle.
Incendary is not explosive, it uses heat combined with the impact to basicly melt its was through armour. What he meant is the same effect as a 40mm grenade.
NO! The Barret M87 is a .50 cal round nothing likes a tank shell wich can be up to 120mm on the M1A2 Abrams, Challenger 2, or T-90. However they can fire the .50 BMG Incendiary round wich will explode on impact but the metal core will continue to penetrate light armour.
And the G3 was manufactured in BOTH semi-auto for English forces and Full Auto for other customers like Iran, they can also be found made without licsence in China chambered in 5.56x45 Nato.
Actually a lot of the guns in the game can be fully automatic and/or semi-auto and/or single fire and/or 3burst but they make the guns on one mode. For example I think the M16A1 in CoD4 can be shot only in burst fire, but irl all. correct me if im wrong please.

The SVD is an extremely good rifle, its very reliable and well built and very accurate for its purpose, many Americans will swear by the M14 although in my opinion the SVD is slightly better, perhaps your dad liked the PSO scope as its only a 4X it gives a very wide field of view and obviously is much better for closer ranges also.

Yes the only way to sort out the weapon problems like that is by making the game 100% realistic, which would probably ruin the game.
There is not one level or map big enough to use any of the rifles real potential realisticly, the only thing weapon wise i really think they could improve is the weapons automaticly shooting where you aim, for instance a MP5, they are a great weapon out to 50m, but after that you wont hit a barn, but yet i can shoot people accross the entire maps with it ect.
No worrys, i never said i would change the game, the video is to explain to kids who think is realistic some of the differences in real life, also to explain some gun faults on the game which im sick of seing little gamers trying to tell gun owners about their gun, when they are wrong.
Overall its a great game i would probably just add a few more rifles and change some petty mistakes if i could.
No problem, the launcher usualy comes with its own handgaurd as in the game, allthough there may be a new model of m203 that mounts to weaver rails. I might look into it.
Yeah, im not a expert on American weapons, but i know the M203 is inferior to the Russians GP25,30,34 and BG15, they are slightly longer ranged, more accurate and far better built, i believe the M203 is still made from aluminium?
Yes, the Russians use VOG25 which is mainly for damage to light viechles and personell alike, 25P which bounces on impact to head hight to be used agains personell and a thermobaric round which is for mainly firing into buildings.
Unfortunatly the biggest threat from them is the RPG7, which all APCs and viechles attract like magnets, i would rather be away on foot than in any armoured viechle having one fired at me.

he's wrond about the starting US salary! We start out at about 23,450 depending on MOS, and once you hit Cpl(USMC) your pay is relative to the same job in the civilian market. Im a Hummer mechanic and make about 40,000 a year wich is comparable to an auto technichian.

9x19mm parabellum can hit efectively to 50m, but then again, on those ranges i think you have to take the bullet drop into account

the 3G actually uses the 7.62 mm ammo, there's a slight difference and it can even fire .308's but it was designed for 7.62
just like you can shoot .223's from a 5.56

@karlosthejakel Not Really, the CAR-15 used in Vietnam by the USMC uses a 5.56 NATO rifle round but it is referred as an SMG. @Armaggedon1997 Yes your right, even though it was designated CAR as carbine shortened down it says on wikipedia "the manufacturers use the term SMG on some carbines to emphasize their short length" regardless it is still a carbine as it fired the same rifle round as its big brothers the AR15 variants.
I know Tula also refer to the AKSU74 as a SMG, its no big deal with rifle classes, the video was just to point out some mistakes for people who spread false info on real shooters videos.

@Spokengro By laser you mean illuminated reticle? Your partly right, there is a third dial for this that is on the left side, although the one in the game is the windage dial that should be on the right. The dial that should be on the left is completly different from windage and elevation dials.

The m82A1 or "Berrett .50 Cal" doesn't have much recoil. The barrel is made to move back to absorb a large amount of recoil, the supressor is also, and the sheer weight of the rifle lowers its recoil. Where am I getting at? It can be fired when standing, easily, its just hard to keep it steady due to its weight being 30 pounds. and a lot of the "mistakes" were intentional for gameplay purposes, like the silly claymore "issue".

a few things you got wrong.
actually a 9mm pistol can reach 400 meters a second. dont believe me go look it up.
and the VERY FIRST not modern VERY FIRST m16 was only 3 round burst. modern m16s have a 3 selection switch.
other than that right on target. but its human to make mistakes. and IW probably saw a picture of the gun and drew it.

This is what I have to keep telling myself while playing CSS. "It's just a video game." Heck, in CSS if you want your AK and M4 to eject from the correct side and such you have to set your stance up to shoot left handed. The game designers do this because they want to show off their fancy designs. So things that should be on the outside out of view suddenly get turned around to be seen. I think it's all very stupid, myself.

To be fair in single player the G3 is FA, they just changed it to semi to balance online play.
The M87 Barratt fires the 12.7mm i.e .50 bullet, its by no means a tank shell and doesnt explode on impact, the rifle has little uses other than stopping light viechles and is well and truly overated by gamers.

Really the barret can fire an explosive round, The .50 BMG Incendiary! It was used in aircraft durring WW2, Korea (P-51and F-86 had 6 .50 BMGs) , and Nam untill the 20mm M61 Vulcan Cannon was adopted. It is now used in the .50 BMG rifles as an anti light armour round (LAVs, Jeeps, Technicals, IFVs, and BMPs) but it is not a tank shell as he/she stated though the M2 .50 BMG commonly mounted as the top gun on an Abrams tank or Bradley Fighting Vehicle.

Incendary is not explosive, it uses heat combined with the impact to basicly melt its was through armour. What he meant is the same effect as a 40mm grenade.

NO! The Barret M87 is a .50 cal round nothing likes a tank shell wich can be up to 120mm on the M1A2 Abrams, Challenger 2, or T-90. However they can fire the .50 BMG Incendiary round wich will explode on impact but the metal core will continue to penetrate light armour.
And the G3 was manufactured in BOTH semi-auto for English forces and Full Auto for other customers like Iran, they can also be found made without licsence in China chambered in 5.56x45 Nato.

Actually a lot of the guns in the game can be fully automatic and/or semi-auto and/or single fire and/or 3burst but they make the guns on one mode. For example I think the M16A1 in CoD4 can be shot only in burst fire, but irl all. correct me if im wrong please.

i know your only pointing out mistakes and i agree, 22 years of experience in the british army but it is a game, a great one may i add, but it is fairly hard to put all of the detail into a game with such high quality, they probably would have had to compromise something to cram all the little details in. goodspot on barret 50.cal though almost impossible to fire standing up it might knock an ordinary man over.

The SVD is an extremely good rifle, its very reliable and well built and very accurate for its purpose, many Americans will swear by the M14 although in my opinion the SVD is slightly better, perhaps your dad liked the PSO scope as its only a 4X it gives a very wide field of view and obviously is much better for closer ranges also.

Just helping you out, I absolutely hate how realistic people think this game is...
And the idiots that join the military because of it, last thing I need is to worry about some dolt beside me thinking using a firearm is as simple as right click for zoom and click for instant headshots.
The game is fun though and I love it for what it is... a mediocre shooter like Halo.

Yes the only way to sort out the weapon problems like that is by making the game 100% realistic, which would probably ruin the game.
There is not one level or map big enough to use any of the rifles real potential realisticly, the only thing weapon wise i really think they could improve is the weapons automaticly shooting where you aim, for instance a MP5, they are a great weapon out to 50m, but after that you wont hit a barn, but yet i can shoot people accross the entire maps with it ect.

No worrys, i never said i would change the game, the video is to explain to kids who think is realistic some of the differences in real life, also to explain some gun faults on the game which im sick of seing little gamers trying to tell gun owners about their gun, when they are wrong.
Overall its a great game i would probably just add a few more rifles and change some petty mistakes if i could.

Yes, the Russians use VOG25 which is mainly for damage to light viechles and personell alike, 25P which bounces on impact to head hight to be used agains personell and a thermobaric round which is for mainly firing into buildings.

he's wrond about the starting US salary! We start out at about 23,450 depending on MOS, and once you hit Cpl(USMC) your pay is relative to the same job in the civilian market. Im a Hummer mechanic and make about 40,000 a year wich is comparable to an auto technichian.
