Nah Tenchu Stealth Assassins was the best one. The new ones are okay. Fatal Shadows and Tenchu Z probably has to be my least favorite.

@jeshalou so how much zombies and stuff are in this one? i love wrath of heaven but i kinda wish all the missions were like Ronin village and the first mission. just got a ps2 and bought a bunch of classics. planning on adding this one.

And man do i wish they would bring back the series with a QUALITY game for PS3.

Im a great fan of tenchu, it was one of the games I used to play in my old ps1 all the time... Lost the count of how many times I finished tenchu 2... Tenchu 1 and 2 were amazing... But this is not tenchu, not anymore... But fortunatelly the same team that made tenchu famous in the past, gave us shinobido... It has what made tenchu great in the past, it carries the legacy...

I agree, levels ar smaller then ever, and don't have that climate like before. Rin completely not fit to Tenchu. Camera is still disobedient. Ok, but gameplay is really better with double SK, ranking and fighting system. Autors never can finish up all, even on X'360...

Kurenai isn't bad but it has two main problems:

Rin is an annoying skank.

The levels are way too short.

Ayame look best in this game part. Fatal shadows is more difficult then Tenchu WoH, and that better. There's no zombies and other strange things from TWoH so that better to, but story line and direction are completely poor. The most bad in this game is a camera-that is a totally mess.

He prob has them all now for all the abilities so no need to pick them up anymore.

when you kill perfectly your enemies, you will have new abilities to kill with stealth then

your character cans see further by example, it's part of new abilities

and of course you can take some ninja items such as throwing knives, shuriken, smoke bomb, explosive grenade, etc...

Finally someone who actually knows how to play the tenchu games... I like your style but, only one thing that I noticed.

You play the game like you know it so well, like you know exactly where the enemies are going to be. Try to act like you don't know where they are all at. At least a liiiiittle bit, it'll add some excitement! Other than that though, you're doin an awesome job!

next year this being ported to psp. But it might be Japanese only. There Armored Core 3 psp port is coming to US so there is a good chance Tenchu San Portable and Tenchu Kurenia Portable will as well.

how do you get the extra scrolls from sk? i mean, the game shows a circle with japanese text charcters, you earn more scrolls for dat don't you? but how? =x

When you perform a Stealth-Kill, depending on the timing from when you press the Button and distance from the enemy a small circle next to the KI-Meter will shine. If you press the button at that exact moment you will automatically perform a "Perfect Stealth-Kill" and get more Scrolls due to that.

However, if you do not time it correclty, you can still perform the "Perfect Stealth-Kill" Manually by pressing the Attack Button at the exact same time as the "Kills" occur during the Stealth-Kill.

The Stealth Kills happen automatically when you press the attack button close to an enemy who is unaware of your presence.

The Stealth Kills you get depends on which side of the enemy you're standing when you perform the Stealth Kill :-)
