Was this a light sussex, or a bantam sussex hen? I have a sussex atm who is behaving broody, but have heard that the standards can be heavy sitters and crack eggs. Would like to know if she is a standard?
how long did u have your hens befor 1 went broody becouse i nearly ha my hens with a year and none went broody but i have the excath hen ase u and he is gone all fluffy but isint sittin on any eggs :) ?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
