I just have to say that Top of the Pops was rubbish compared to Ready Steady Go back in the 60's RSG was dog rough, played live music, made loads of mistakes and was all the better for it... We all lived for Friday nights when it was on so we could begin the weekend!

one of the most underrated performers, in my opinion.
