  • fantastic vocal

  • Jimmy & Robert are like milk & honey most unrated duo ever. Jimmy is the best guitarist and Robert is the best singer ever period.

  • its not called feeling its called heart and only real guitarists have it the rest are just chumps pretending they can play you cant hear heart can only be felt thats the difference between masters and chumps

  • @jazbo52 slash plays just like jimmy your dam right influenced for sure even moves his fingers like jimmy slash is no slouch let me tell you one of the best out there

  • Bow to him. Bow now. Do it.

  • if not for jimmy page there would be no slash.

  • @VolatileDisposition if not for jimmy page metal would be different...WAY DIFFFERENT ;) :)

  • @ledzepguitarcovers yes. of course. my reference was made regarding the Les Paul which jimmy was famous for playing and so is slash-no doubt influenced by the great jimmy page. no way around it.

  • @VolatileDisposition IF it weren't for page they wouldn't be anyone.

  • Eu vi, foi o melhor show que já fui até hoje.

  • Plant is the only vocalist I know of who could have possibly kept up with Page's guitar playing. Shame on Plant's critics for not recognizing and respecting this.

  • Holy shit, turn it down, I cant hear.....(the video).MUhahahahahhahahaha

  • jimmy my lord y're a musical monster....the greatest of all !

  • second best to the one in the movie the song remains the same in new york..intro uniquely tasty..

  • Just another reason why I love Jimmy Page. It's all about the music. I'm bett'n the man was sober and on a natual high. GOOD GOLLY!

  • just wtf, this was in the SAME year and city that i was born.

i may be blessed by 4 gods.

  • SON MUCHO PARA ESTE MUNDOOo!

  • the drummer is Michael Lee, wonderful, sadly died not long ago.

  • immortal legends

  • b b b b b brilliant i ne ne ne ne neeeeeeeeeeeeed i said i neeeeeeeeed not say no more moma nnnno more!!!!

  • Quando teremos shows como esses de novo????? Queria voltar no tempo!!!

  • Em 21011996 eles estavam em SP no Estádio do Pacaembu. Jamais esquecerei.

  • I think that Robert Panlt sings better than before. He is like wine and gets better with time

  • not even close to their prime but EONS past anything today......keep strumming jimmy page.....love the blues!

  • Actually this sounds every bit as good as when they were in their prime. At least Page does.

  • much better than zep post '75, page lost it in the late '70's. h got his chops back in '96 and dropt that rythm player.

  • 4 the record as well, Bonhams' son Jason is an admirable replacement 4 his dad and i think Zep is BACK now...2nd chance again i suppose. Also, John Paul Jones IS the thread that holds the band together musically too...

  • I agree. Saw Page and JPJ sit in with Foo Fighters. You don't realize what a monster bass player he is - relentless..as much rhythmic force as the drums, if not more. And then he plays a pretty mean organ too. A great musician who doesn't get enough attention.

  • lol a mean organ

  • @clarkewi And a very good guitar player to.

  • Michael Lee DID have that similar feeling (if not the solid whack) of Bonham, he was a brilliant drummer...probably born into the wrong generation...would have been more appreciated back in the bad old days of the '70's...

  • Yes, sharrer2, you are correct, but the antidote for such depression is........get the Led out and listen to more Led Zeppelin! LOL works for me :D

  • This isnt led zeppelin.

Its only 1/2 of led zeppelin.

and this 1/2 is 5 times as good as anything today.

    :|

    Depressing much?

  • Cream

Creme de la Cream - fro..m love..ur................alllll...russia...ve!! LZ FOREVER, long time well find somerthing sssssssssimilar and kindoffffffffffff fr st.petersburg

  • Jimmy is the real Master!!!

  • mtv? haha back when mtv was good

  • @slipknot604metallica haha i was gonna say the same thing, who knew Mtv had music on it at one time

  • the solo is so damn amazing! page is the only one who plays with soo much feeling and fast at once. today everybody wants to play fast and even faster than fast but wheres the feeling????and to be honest playing tons of notes in a sec doesnt sound good!

  • @LeguanMo It's because people shred, Jimmy Page plays fast notes but he doesn't shred.

  • @Murreh shredding is just playing fst notes

  • el mejor bateria con excelencia es el boham, y segundo el cozzy powell

  • That so called 'terrible drummer' that this guy/girl below me stated was the one and only Michael Lee. He was one of the BEST rock drummers in the business so I really don't know what the f'k your talking about? He has since passed away as well. RIP Michael Lee. You knew how to kick in the skins and made a lot of us really happy at the same time. You gave your heart and soul into every performance as did Bonzo as well.

Thanks for the great video of SIBLY. It hit th spot tonight,

    Rob/Boston

  • Anybody who thinks that Lee was a "terrrible" drummer is clueless. maybe not as good as Bonham, but who is? Anyhoo, Pagey owns that intro solo. Peace.

  • i agree. I saw him in Rio and I was impressed how good he was. I agree , great drummer

  • Is that Bonham Jr.? Sounds XLNT!

  • great jp performance

  • this is an awesome show!

  • Is the best song of led zeppelin in my opinion, but i think that the real song can be played just for 4 persons: robert, jimmy, jones & jason.

  • i dont like the drummer

  • tard!!he is awesome!!

    are u deaf??

  • great!!!!!!!!

  • thanks so much for posting this gem!!!

JP is fantastic - man, what a version! So refine and majestic at the same time. Unbelievable!

  • I kind of agree. Like Page needs any on stage help from more string instruments.

  • fn awesome

  • If you listen to the way Plant uses his vocals here, you can clearly here a trace of 1980 Robert in his voice. He HAS THE CAPABILITIES still to pull out those vocals. He doesn't though. Why? Only he truly knows that. He knows that if he does people will start to push them in a full blown reunion direction. Just listen to rock and roll or Whole lotta Love from this show.

  • This was thirteen years ago though, and he could still do it then. But not now. Doesn't mean they can't put out a new album though.

  • The drummer is Michael Lee

  • RIP Michael Lee

I was pretty critical of his drumming with P&P, but he was really talented. There was a real joy about his playing.

  • more than critiziin´ He learnt me how to perceive the music as a whole, not only care about own individual reputation but care mostly about the people and joy around. That´s ALL WHAT THE LIFE IS ABOUT, and I decided to never stop it. Michael Lee is purest being to me, can´t never forget his unforgettable work (hidden and inner) work, which is although far far deeper than any outer material experience

  • Does anyone know who the drummer is? I can't tell?!

  • That's actually a really good performance, it's just hard to tell because you can't hear that clearly. One thing I like a lot about this song live is that they change it up and do it differently every time, even on the same tour.

  • Plant is in good form!

  • TRUE that ! Whoa. His performance kind of blew me away just now..for a '96 show. He's was right down with it that night. Damn. Pagey is totally wicked too. I don't know why the dewd that posted this says it's not that great ? This was a pretty bad ass rendition! (the drummer dewd really picked it up as the song progressed)

  • Vette this ain't a MTV production.

This a festival called Hollywood Rock which it is used to take place every January in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and it was in 1996.

  • Robert look at Jimmy man.....

Look to your left man you guys are the greatest L/V-GUITAR duo in rock history!

One more time dude for the fans..

You can f.... around with Ms. Krauss later

Now it's time to let the ZEPPELIN fly again..

  • oh no! we had enough zep and p/p to do us for a while. I like robert where he is now. they are starting on their next album w/ t bone in early '09.

  • Oh hell yeah! I will second that! LED ZEPPELIN REUNION!!!

  • My apologies for the thumbs down done by accident......sorry!!!!!!

  • oooooooooooaaaaaaaaaaaauuuuuuuuuuuuuu

sa mori ranit din dragoste de L.ZEPPELIN..

  • Thank you.

  • Wow Page and Plant on MTV? I thought they only got on it 2 times once with Unledded and once at Monsters of Rock where they did Wearing and Tearing....nice to see MTV did put these ledgends on one more time. Now they probably couldnt fit em in between all the Ferfie,LiLMama, and all the other not musicians they have on there.

  • i think Wearing and Tearing was from that show they got back together at Knebworth.
