@LILrEDBaretta Well, Christopher Titus used comedy to cope with his childhood abuse and troubles. I, too, learned to laugh at much of my problems (bipolar, borderline, then later disabled thanks to spinal injury from a mountain car wreck), and comedy & laughter (including at oneself) does indeed make it more endurable.

I'd say it's only sad if you look at it that way. :)

@requshei Nah, during that stupid "vote bot" phase a couple years back, all of my videos got targeted with 50+ "dislikes" in one evening. Good thing I'm not concerned with YT fame or featured videos, etc., eh? :)

He's underrated as far as I and other people I know are concerned. And how therapeutic to take one's CRAZY childhood experiences and use them for stand-up comedy.... get a career and income from it rather than paying a therapist! LOL

There is only Societal Norm, and anyone who can show me someone who fits that category in full will have me floored. However, growing up with one parent who is an incessant drunk and another parent who is certifiably insane is far from "normal" as we think of it, and the stories we tell later on can be quite hilarious. As he shows. lol
