  • Conect to the crt coils

  • This is incredible. With the proper modulation and electromagnetic scanning he can make a small oscilloscope or put pictures on it. Anything with cathode ray is getting far out of reach as time goes on. Everything is going towards panel technology.

  • The first CRT, the Braun tube, was a cold-cathode design.

  • YH MAN 50 INCH PLASMA TV!!

  • omg thats soooo awsome.....geek pron

  • I can't see whats on the tube??? HBO???

  • smallest tv?

  • I guess you next project would be electron microscope.

  • These can go into the robotic eye sockets of the robots of the future. Use red phosphors :)

  • I just have to congratulate you one more time!!! This is just so amazing!!

  • First of all, please allow me to say that this is one of the coolest inventions ever!!!Great work! If You don't mind,i would have a few questions:did you really make that at home? And if you did, could you please give me a few ideas of how You did that? I am a very big electronics enthusiast, but don't really have much cash to build things...this tiny little tube looked as if it might be possible to build from stuff that might be found at home,i guess... so thanks again and 5 stars from me!!!

  • He didn't make it at home. He spent $20000 buying it from a LHC scientist. Actually, he did make it at home, and all you have to do is find wire to put into the tiny tube, and a high voltage power supply, like a rectified neon sign transformer. I'm actually thinking about building one of these. If you think about it, Its relatively simple. Go to the site in the description, and buy a vacuum pump, they come really handy.

  • WOW great!! +Különleges!!:)))

  • i want to see more of youre tiny crt display

  • cool

  • Wow! That's wild. At the end there I could see a little test pattern on the viewing end of the tube.

  • its funny a man is trying to get the world's smallest shaft looking thing.

  • I would like to see porn on it.....a "little" porn never hurt anyone....lololol

  • can you connec it to a vcr or dvd or something?

  • ohh that would be sick .

  • you never know, big screen tvs might just be on the way out hahahaha.

  • sweet!

  • Very nice. Now mice can have a handheld analog oscilloscope!

  • Very Impressive, and it even works!

  • wow small

  • That's awesome!! You should try connecting it in a video monitor circuit to make the world's smallest video image on CRT.

  • magic would you show us how you made it?

  • now that you have done this, how about creating the worlds largest cathode ray tube?

  • You really did that this time! (As far as I knew, fewer corporations have done this in 80's, but you really was the first to actually bring it into our eye!)

  • Rad!

  • wow... the fact that that thing is homemade blows my mind, seriously incredible. Congradulations.

  • Simply admirable. Thanks for posting your

    work... :)

  • Homemade CRT is amazing. Incredibly small homemade CRT even more amazing. But to have a cool little video of a homemade, incredibly small CRT is simply wonderful!!

  • must be the smallest! congrats!

  • Amazing, Mr Steiner.
