@ryanforshure Sorry but i was not raised in or around church and for most of my 40 years i did not know God until he revealed himself to me just this past year. It has nothing to do what you were raised to believe,it's what you decide to believe in on your own. Just like you when you decided not to believe in God.

not soon after i was tortured mentally by the whole persecution but i kept my faith in God and somehow all false charges were dropped (i had been accused of beating someone up whom I didn't)... i went thru it all.. i went home, got a job, lost my home was homeless lost my job as well found another got another home, lost that house, got another job... many Christians hear abt persecution and quickly dispise theyre brothers and sisters... xtianity isn't abt a degree or getting rich.. its abt YHWH

i like how it says that we're all lost on our own, and how we need God. But what i don't get is why we have to believe a very bizarre story about Jesus (whether real or false) to get to Him. Personally i'm agnostic and i just can't understand this, explanations would be appreciated.

Christianity (and most worship of "gods" ) is nothing more than human conceit incarnate. . If there were such a thing as a god, why would it only make one "creation" in its own image? If I were god and I was so conceited, I'd have made every organism look just like me. Variation is for not but to impress. If I am the "almighty" who am I to impress? If it is for they (my creations) to obey, why give them free-will, or concern myself with anything but their total compliance to mine?

God could be true but Jesus is a fairytale. "Son of God" is actually "Sun of God" people worshiped the star that gives our planet life. I'm all for spirituality but to say you need a fictional character to save you is kinda silly.

Mastering your conscience is your solution. If you're doing something that bothers your conscience stop doing that thing, or suffer.

Go and create something, use the tools god gave you. That is truly the purpose for life.

I was never raised in a church but after 39 years he beat me down to the point that i knew he was real. I gave my self to him this year.Aug 29th and i have never felt better. Once you come to him and are forgiven it is really like the weight of the world has be taken off of your shoulders.
