it looks nice bro.. thatz a great set up bro but u will never going to get a great bass cuz they need space.. try those kicker in a regular box and u will see a big difference.. i used to have a set up like that and it doesnt work really good.. and now i am getting 3 shallow..

Go to Bassforms website,they going for 599.00 but you can get them cheaper if you search. I ended up having a glass box made,ported for 500.00 tuned at 32hz with 2-12w6's

Box looks too small. If your sacrificing the back of your quad cab anyway, why have a custom under seat small ass box? They will sound way better in a bigger box. Explains why he's trying to get rid of it probably.

That is a nice system. I have a 05 dodge ram with JL audio slash series amps I have a 1000/1 amp for my 2 12" mtx 7500 subs in a seal fiberglass encloser under the rear seats and a 450/4 for my mids And highs powered thrue a kinetic hc1800 power cell battery and to protect my system I got a viper alarm 5901 remote start. For all them jackers out there lol.

i got the same box i made some spacers out of wood and got longer bolts for the rear seat raised it up about 3 inches got no problem with it hitting the speakers and have plenty of room for the amp on top of the box and can still sit 3 full grown adults with no problem

When your system is not hitting very hard, It stores the extra energy that the alternator produces, So when you hit a real hard or low note it doesent strain the battery as much

The seats can be folded down to hide the subs but i wouldnt recommend anyone sitting on them. I wouldnt be comfortable with that. The fabric on the underside of the seats would press down a little too hard for me to be comfortable with.

I have this bizarre audio setup, since cars don't like me anymore, I have done assembling my car audio setup in my room.

I am using voltage converter bought from a local electrical store which converts 220 volts from home socket into 12 volts to feed my amps. But I'm not quite satisfied with 30 amperes that it gives out. I am thinking to add up 2-farad capacitor in the system. Can I install a 2-farad capacitor in my unique system? Any tips on how can I safely pre-charge it in my system?

Yeah, its the camera. I was using this cheap like bottom of the line digital camera. Was just messing around making a video and said hell, I will put his one on youtube anyways. Im actually pushing about 1300 watts in that small enclosure.Its loud but of course with the doors open......no so much.

The song played is "Doin my thang" by Jon Young. The song sounds really good. If you listen carefully, at 26 seconds, the song speeds up and then slows back down at 40 seconds. Not sure why- think it was the camera but it is a fairly slow song with ALOT of thump. When the song plays slow, thats how it sounds during the whole track. If you like this one, also listen to "city I luv" by him too.

if that enclosure is sealed, the subs can take alot more power. If you look at the spec sheet for the subwoofers, it'll show you how much power they can handle (properly broken in) in both sealed and ported enclosures. Ported enclosures are where you need to worry about power because you could bottom the coil out on the magnet and than your sub will pop or even fry out completely, i had it happen on a Kicker CompVR, it's not fun
