Of all the talented speedy PGs that have come out of UCLA within the past few years, Westbrook's my favorite. REAL franchise player potential. Still a bit raw in his overall game, but he's been making huge strides in just a short amount of time. Thunder should definitely lock him up if they haven done so already...

height and vertical do not matter its about production...westbrook- 16ppg 8 asst 5 reb 1 stl 24 double doubles and 1 triple double. Rose-21 ppg 6 asst 4 reb 1 stl 6 double doubles...personally i think Rose is better but in a few years i wouldn't be surprised if Westbrook is the better player hes def a more complete player

Good mix, but it seems like the majority of his highlights are dunks. Rose, on the other hand, sparingly dunks and finishes with more finesse. Russell has about an inch on DRose in terms of height, but Westbrook's max vert is around 36 inches, while Rose's is 40. If Russell is a prodigy, what's Rose lol. If Rose had a better coach, an offensive playbook that didn't involve Crayola, and someone like Durantula on his team -- it's game over for the league.

That was a name I adopted when I first started mixing. I don't go by it anymore though.

I agree with you on the Rose thing though. But Russell has made some great stride to make the argument between who is better tough to conclude.

One thing that you must admit is that this kid really improved his game on the off season working hard. And the fact that he is the best or second best defensive point gaurd in the league next to rondo. But i like him more than rondo on the defensive end cuz his long arms and the face that he stays infront of his man and can defend guys like rose, and deron williams. He's a nice point gaurd but offensively obviously he aint better than rose.

@tkbulls8 true of physical advantages. Westbrook has taken his team to the next level. and well DRose his team has gone Nowhere! No dis-respect to DRose, he is raw as hell! but playing PG is all about team performance not just individual performance.

@tkbulls8 I don't think Rose jumps higher than Westbrook and there's not so much difference as players beetween them, only time will tell us who's better.... I prefere Russell, he's more a leader and a defensive stopper... I think he will become the best of the two

@tkbulls8 Westbrook's Vert is alot better than 36 (more like 40+, 36 is the same as kyrie Irving) and Derrick rose's is 44-46 inches actually.

@tkbulls8 Remember even Johnny Flynn reportedly posted a 40 inch vert so I don't know how much I trust that Russel was fully warmed up because anybody can see that westbrook is more athletic than Flynn.
