  • 2 pts here: bush gave into the libs lk pelosi and reid in congress. Obama has exasporated these 'bailout' problems. Guys lk cramer (who are huge libs) and point out what nobamas doin is killin the economy are obviously goin to get bashed by the white house and buried in obscurity

  • Ur just mad because Stewart wrecked this idiot using Cramer's own stupid and agenda backed clips.

  • the economy was fucked before obama took office...i always liked cramer cause hes crazy but i never watched him enough to know hes partisan im gonna stop watching

  • An actor walks upon the floodlit stage of life wearing a mask of an angel beneath a demon's gown. Pretence smiles upon the crowded hall of life holding out hope as bright as it is false. ,,, See a black saviour where nought but a Judas strides. An entrapper of nations, bringer of dismal war Behind the robes and the nylon wings of hope Oh, may those who look upon you, see you as you are. Obama is not hope, he is distraction Please think
  • Sorry pal, name-calling is no argument.

Borrowing yourself out of a debt crisis has never worked and will never work. Neither for indidivual nor for government.

Regardless how much faith you put in Lord Obama; reality stays the same.

  • who says I like obama? Who says I think borrowing is a good policy? I like how you say obamas cronies and pet government, shows how you think.

Bush didnt invest in the USA and didnt create jobs.

If we do nothing it will be like Japan in the 90s, no growth for a decade.

  • You contradict yourself. First you say that you dont think that borrowing is a good policy, and next you say that Obamas giant new debts for government programs are "investing in the USA".

    Decide which one it is.

Japan, btw, did try endless "stimulus" stimulus plans and propped up failed financial institutions, leading to a lost decade. Very much like the Obama plan, except that Japan had a current account surplus and could actually afford it.

Please try to inform yourself before opining.

  • no your wrong, japan delayed constantly before implementing a stimulus and then when they implemented it there was too little money too late.

My statements dont contradict, borrowing is not good but atm its the only policy. Its going back into america so its an investment we will eventually get back + some more.

  • You really should inform yourself.

Japans successive LDP goverments have been passing one "stimulus" bill after the other, typically for infrastructure projects, leaving the country plastered with bridges and highways to nowwhere, and a huge government debt. (The difference to the US is that the Japanese government does not have to run to China to finance this, it can cover the debt domestically.)

Please do inform yourself before opining.

  • Maybe you should inform yourself - most economists agree and especially economists in japan, that the stimulus there was not enough and it was too late. It resulted in the market being propped up but not the cycle being broken. When the regime came in about 7 or so years ago it carried out a much more aggresive stimulus plan and pulled japan out of the slump.

  • That is just plain wrong. And there was no "regime" that came in about 7 years ago "pulled" anything out of slump. Japan has been ruled by the LDP continuously, and they are passing more stimulus nonsense as we speak.

Again, the only difference difference is that Japan has a huge current account surplus, so is in a different situation from the US.

    Stop making things up, please.

Anyway, the fact remains that this US government is attacking its critics personally, which is totally unbecoming.

  • Hmmm DowJones and SP started to drop in october 2007... Who was president at that time ?

Maybe one country's president has nothing to do with the stock market...

  • I thought Cramer is the one of the few who short sell everything.... remember !!!!! and now you are blaming on someone else for DOW and S&P falling.. what a looser

  • Cramer has been all over the map with his calls before. There is nothing new there.

But it is only when he dared to criticise The One that he got singled out for a scathing attack from the White House.

  • Dekrugi, get a life and stop bitching on youtube. What he did was a perfectly acceptable criticism.

    go /wrists

  • What Cramer did was.

What the government spokesman did was not, no matter how hard you try to excuse it.

  • I love how he blames Obama for the stock market problems...lol as if george Bush had nothing to do with it. Why would people lesson to you, you were the cause of it after all.

  • Ah yes, Cramer, the lifelong Democrat, would go out of his way to defend Bush and blame Obama (who he voted for), for purely partisan reasons.

If it makes sense to you...

  • Oh Ya and deficit is so high because Iraq and Afghan war along with military contracts are included in the budget when under bush they were not.

    Idiot.

  • Not true. Obamas new debt is already is 4 times the Bush one, *including* the Iraq and Afghanisan wars.

Inform yourself before calling other people names.

  • Holy crap you are a mis informed idiot.

Also you seem to have no common sense or knowledge of economics either.

  • Name calling is no argument. Never was, never will be.

Check the numbers yourself, if you can take of your blinkers for a moment.

Obamas so-called "stimulus" bill alone exceeds the cumulative costs of Iraq and Afghan wars -- which he needs to fund in a addition. And that is just the beginning.

Sorry, blaming GWB does not work. The current gang has already vastly exceeded whatever waste there was before.

  • Its so obvouse your in the bag for the republicans. GWB policies have weakened the economy which is why we have the stimulus package. You dont seem to understand economic scale. Also the stimulus is just under 1 tril. The war is over 2.3

  • Actually, the only thing that is "obvouse" is that you need to work on your spelling, in addition to your economics.

I am no friend of the Republicans; the best thing I can say for them is that Obama´s gang is*worse*.

And the "stimulus" aka pork package is only the beginning -- already they had to come back for more, and will come back for more yet again.

The idea that a government can borrow-and-spend itself out of a debt crisis is so patently absurd, it needs no comment.

  • as melp said - economy slumped with bush not obama, its the republicans fault. Spending and borrowing while a bad policy actually DOES work. It may not be the best solution but like said it works, what obama is doing isnt bad because he is investing in america through infastructure jobs and technology - the money will flow back into the government unlike Iraq or afghan war.

  • If spending and borrowing worked, then the Bush economy should have been wonderful!

In fact, in that case there would be no economic basket cases anywhere, because nothing is easier for a government than to spend your money.

Get real -- someone will have to pay for the trillions of debt that Obama is adding with his gigantic expansion of government, and it will you, your kids, and in fact the entire world which is stuck with these increasingly worthless US bonds.

  • Hugo Chavez has congratulated Obama already on his splendid program.

Look forward to large scale nationalization and media control.

  • Really? Well maybe Obama does know what he is doing... I mean I would rather live in Venezuela then Columbia or any of the other surrounding countries. The government looks after the people and drug lords don't rule the land.

  • ...and you would prefer to live in "Columbia or any of the surrounding countries" than in Zimbabwe.

That sort of "argument", you can continue ad nauseam.

Fact is that Obamas populist rethoric, ham-fisted attempts of wealth redistribution, and personal attacks on critics are right out of Hugo Chavez playbook.

  • Ignore dekrugi is an un educated intellectual right wing idiot going around youtube criticising obama. You fail horribly. Bush bailed out AIG and we own 80% of the company now yet we have absolutely NO SAY in what it does so basically we own it yet its not ours. I would rather it is nationalized. Whats better bush bailing out banks with no strings attatched and letting them skip capitalism or nationalization where atleast the public owns it. Again your an idiot.

  • Responding to criticism with personal attacks... if your intent is to demonstrate how the current administration deals with critics, that is well done.

  • awesome intelligent response which totally diffused my points!

  • Not so awsome, just a statement of fact.

Turning a criticism of the Obama administration into a personal attack on the critic is the Obama policy, and you gave a nice demonstration how it works.

  • wow nice work on being stupid yet again.

If cramer is criticising the economic policy of the admin yet cramer doesnt know much about economics himself or is a bad investor then its valid to criticise his record as a economist when he criticises them.

    Bush admin did far worse.

  • Repeating the same lame excuse is no argument.

Again, Cramer was talking about an issue, as were others.

Instead of addressing the issue, this admin reacts with a personal attack on the critic.

Just like your name-calling here, which is why I said you are demonstrating the point nicely.

  • the issue cramer raised was invalid and was an attack on the administrations policies. Cramer has no basis to make attacks from. They did not personaly attack him, they attacked his credentials for making the statement.

  • It is irrelevant if Cramers criticism was justified (in the event, I think it was, although I am no fan of Cramer).

What matter is that this administration, instead of responding to the substance of criticism, goes after their critics personally.

    Again, this is extremely unbecoming.

  • Because the criticism was idiotic. The questioner asked what the mans opinion was on cramers comment. That was his opinion.

Stop trying to find problems bush did the same hting.

  • It is irrelevant if you think the criticism was idiotic.

People are free to have idiotic opions. But an administration that goes goes out and attacks its critics personally is abusing its power.

  • Not attacking the critics personal life only his base for making his claims. Learn the difference its obvouse you have no perspective.

  • What is obvous (sic) is that you don´t have a defense for the indefensible practise of this administration to respond to topical criticism with personal attacks on the critics.

Effective this is, justifiable it is not.

  • Cramer has destroyed more of my wealth than anything else I could even imagine.

I love Lucy, NYX is goint to $200, so buy at $100 and watch your money grow, and just recently brought on the CEO of Foster Wheeler guaranteeing his company was going to beat estimates for earning guarantee to go up buy now, I did buy a 22 and then the CEO reported good earnings and said "BUT" not good for the future and FWLT goes to $13.

    No more Cramer for me.

  • Instead of change, Obama should have simple said Spend - he will spend more money than anyone in a quicker time period and end with nothing to show for it! Now that is "change" we can expect from our gov't - but wait, is that not the same gov't we had before we spent all that money?

  • Lulz, The idiot Obama and his mouthpiece get owned by Cramer. how's that market working out? I've never seen projections get this much worse by the day because of a President's ill conceived policies. Rebounding by the end of the year? Maybe the end of 2011.

You want change? Put out your cup.

  • poor jim kramer. he was duped by the "hope" and "change" mantra. sorry, but i don't feel sorry for him (kramer). his first inclination of obama's agenda was when "joe the plumber" confronted him about "spreading the wealth." the media tried to destroy joe and ridiculed him. now after kramer speaks his mind, the obama admin. starts to come after him.

hey kramer, this is the "change" you sung praises about and believed in.

  • First thing Putin did was go after those critical in the media too... (Rule #1 - Slience your critics).

I guess Obama, Gibbs & that evil pinhead Carville have learned from the master... Gee, maybe Obama IS a Marxist after all!

  • Good lord. Does anyone realize this is the same guy who urged everyone to "BUY! BUY! BUY!" right before the market tanked?

Now he's pretending to be the stock market expert, slamming the president for not being as wise to the market. Did you hear his mocking tone of voice when talking about Obama having a "long-term plan"?

Sorry, but that sure beats Cramer's nanosecond attention span, whose advice likely cost investors billions of dollars, and now he's arrogantly pretending to know better.

  • Junggai do you realize that this is the guy that also voted for Obama! Do you realize that this guy, Crammer, is a lifetime Democrat.

  • Is that supposed to mean something? Just because he voted for Obama doesn't mean he knows what he's talking about.

And since when is it a sign of intelligence to shout at the top of your lungs every day?

  • Cramer is a clown

  • No my current point of view is I have lost already some money ...by way of my 401k threw no faultof my own....and you might not know but in your 401k you dont have complete control but you do save money...some people do work and try to save.. then it just goes poof....so pardon me if i sound jaded...the senate and house represenatives are to blame for all this not the stock markets....maybe you should try to learn a little bit more about our congress. and what they are doing

  • Obama's WAR ON BUSINESS seems to be working. Stock Market meltdown will continue. 401Ks will continue to diminish in value. Get whatever is left out of the 401s and put it somewhere much safer. I know many who did that already. The banks won't attract any private money as long as the WAR ON BUSINESS continues. The market will continue to decline and we will have change. NO GREEN, no dollars, just change. Parking meter change left over. How do you like that CHANGE?

  • Yes, things don't look good. I wonder when and if it will turn around. I lost 30% of my 401k

  • Go Cramer.

Brooks, Buckley, Dowd and now Cramer are waking up to Obama.

Obama is deliberately wrecking the economy to push his socialistic agenda.

Anyone who supports his agends just wants a hand out.

  • Thats true about the "agenda"...but , Cramers is in on it too, thats why he tells people to stick with bad investments so their is more money for them to steal!

  • I'm not that familiar with Cramer's show. Thanks for your reply.

  • Cramer, Just pay the tax increase and shut up. you'll still have 4 homes left.

  • do the opposite of what this jerk says and you'll be ok...

  • If you want to go broke quick, listen to this clown!

  • Man it must be nice ...seems you are doing pretty good ..if you are not broke ...almost the whole country is ...more power to you .....as for us broke idiots we will think for ourselfs thank you....

  • Viva Jim Cramer! :)

  • Great Video post! 5 Stars!!!!!!!!!!!

  • That is correct he does not take any advise from his advisors. Jim Cramer is not on FOX and you're right Obama is a socialist. You did really good for someone with an IQ of 39. See ya in the bread lines.

  • So, Obama makes all economic decisions in a vacuum without any input from economists or advisers? Makes perfect sense to low information Fox viewers I guess. Oh yeah, I forgot, he's a socialist!

  • Anyone else just get absolutely irritated every time the press secretary opens his mouth. When's he not engaging in ad hominem on anyone that dares question their agenda, he talks down to the rest of us as if we just aren't as smart as they are.

I love how he wonders what Cramer is looking at to gauge wealth destruction, as if Cramer just started in the markets yesterday. And don't get me started on the detached thinking that wall street's results have no effect on main street.

  • Obama's comment "the stock market is like a tracking poll in politics" pretty much proves Obama is a complete economic neophyte. I mean, you've got to either be a ginormous moron or utterly clueless if you think you can bullshit Wall Street with comments like that. $3 trillion and counting on stock market losses. "Change"...what you'll have left in your pocket after Obama's first four years.

  • AMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Cue the Obamites calling Cramer somehow not as savvy with the stock market as the community organizer. Ready, Go!

  • Yep, they are at it already.

Whatever trillions Obama borrows to spend on his cronies pet government programs, it is now called an "investment".

(Why didnt Bush think of that? All the money down the drain for the Iraq debacle is a gigantic "investment" -- heureka!)
