  • this thing looks exactly like a hornet

  • ur cameraman sucks

  • this car should be called the hennessey charzard the way its spits fire.

  • This car is stupid and ridiculous! 1 million for a car put together with parts from other cars? Lotus body, chevy engine, ford transmission...this thing is automotive blasphemy! Not that rich people have to choose, but I would easily take a Veyron SS over this, not even close to the level of engineering and craftsmanship that went into a Veyron. All that without waking up half the neighborhood with that ridiculously loud and terrible sounding exhaust.

  • 0-100 ? and 0-200?

  • I would be terrified to drive that thing with every electrical aid off..........

  • what a dignifying way to get out of your car.... 1:10

  • a silver car in the 1:11 ????

  • @nelsito2100 Looks like a Ford Mondeo.

  • @t45tube oh thanks :)

  • small but fxxx fast

  • Good Job Hennessey! This is a real sportcar, its a dream of sportcar. Greetings from Germany.

  • NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! I like the Veyron Super Sport much better :"(

  • driver was shit.

  • yellow spitfire

  • he is full of shit the ultimate aero has 3 different cars out and all 3 have better power to weight ratios

  • @rmf09024 The Ultimate Aero is a car not an automobile company, and they only have 2 cars in production. Being technical, the Venom GT (2,524lb) is slightly lighter compared to the Aero (2,750lb). The Aero has a tad bit more power. They are basically the same in power to weight ratio though. The Tuatara hasn't really been tested that much so it can't be compared.....

  • @TurnBaller94 ugggggg yes it is they had the fastest production top speed record beating the veyron, type ssc 0-200, this aero is 7 seconds faster to 200 mph than the veyron ss

  • @rmf09024 Who cares about the Veyron SS. I was comparing the Venom GT to the Aero. That specific Aero had a prototype transmission in it from the upcoming Tuatara. IT IS NOT IN PRODUCTION YET! It can't be compared because it isn't a normal Aero; it was made for testing and testing ONLY!

  • Fastest cars on Creative Mobile's Drag Racing game on smartphones.

  • Dont let the stig touch it or we will all die.

  • It´s so ugly ! FERRARI THE BEST!

  • my friends dad made this

  • 1:11 - 1:19 I knew that, he is alive !

  • american V8 :D

  • Looks like the Lotus took some viagra, steroids and HGHs.

  • Oh thank God it's a stick!! But... Change all the body parts of a lotus it's still a lotus lol sorry, there are 9-12 piece supra and skyline body kits and they are still skylines and supra... It's a HEAVILY modified lotus... A dope one too

  • THANK GOD KEEP STICK SHIFT ALIVE! Fuck that stupid paddle shifting bullshit

  • wow. anybody notice how there still aren't any number for this car?

  • @nezerac Yeah I know! It's complete bullshit that Hennessey won't let anyone test it or do some tests themselves. They talk all this shit about it being faster than this and that yet its been out for a over 2 years and no tests. Quality parts blah blah blah...Hennessey can shove this car up their asses!

  • @slick88zx you mean apart from the time Top Gear magazine had a go and done a review on one?

  • @Tozy90 Link me

  • sounds like a truck

  • i know this is kind of a kit car, but how come there isnt more talk about it>?

  • @cb7pwn I'm curious as well. They said they've sold all 10 already.

  • A small european chassis with a big muscular engine... make us remember Carol Shelby.

  • Comment removed

  • Personally i don't like this car , there is no originality in it . The body is inspired from a lotus with a corvette engine in it , aftermarket parts, wheels and so on . Anyway , my respect stands for European cars .

  • @Alex1731777 but it is the fastest car in the world...

  • @GranTorino992 ..but still i don't have a bit of respect for it.

  • why does the exhaust spits fire?

  • @JedemPoKucama You sir are a brave man to ask that sort of question on here. It's called an afterburner effect. reason why is the motor is spitting out raw unburnt fuel. When the unburnt fuel exits the manifold, and right before it exits the exhaust pipe, it explodes! That's what you see when the flames come out.

  • @jdog942 oh thanks PS: i'm 14 :)

  • This video should've been edited down to 6-7 minutes. Less is more, kill your darlings.

  • 9:36 .. JIZZ

  • Damn yall MF's still bitching about what country this car belongs to????? lol

  • Dear Santa ,..

  • Camera man is making me crazy!

  • LOTUS ELISE ON STEROIDS!!!

  • 1200 hp and 1200 kg?

  • manual gearbox.... 0-60mph in 2.5sec... now THATs impressive!

  • Thumbs up for this thing to go into the next forza motorsport 4 car pack!!!!!!

  • ssc tuatara vs the hennessey venom GT

  • @surredneck66 But 500K USD for a fucking supercharged lotus?

    who wil buy this shit?

  • @TheOne42 id rather buy this then the over priced lfa that doesnt even put out 600 hp.

  • I NEED MONEY.

  • WTF? its like a fucking lotus Elise

  • @TheOne42 it is based on the Exige

  • @surredneck66 LOOSELY based on the Elise. The only thing relating to it is the looks and the cabin area. The chassis is all different.

  • @Elmo187 The chassis isn't all different. It uses the Elise's bonded and rivetted aluminium tub, so I'd guess it probably also uses the normal Lotus pick-up points for the front suspension/steering (although the suspension is wider). It's completely different behind the cabin though, with a new subframe that extends the wheelbase to take the in-line V8, transaxle and rear suspension. Overall though the car is more Hennessey than Lotus.

  • i still like the SSC ultimate aero better

  • it sounds kinda like a cross between a Duramax Diesel and a Ford GT

  • Count how many times he says "UMMMMM" :D

  • he should name that car "Basically" !!!

  • A 1994 Honda Civic with 300hp to the wheels and at 2400lbs has a power ration of 8 to 1. and this is better? For Every hp i have there's 8 pounds of car to move. By far the best power to weight ratio you get for the money spent(less than 40k)

    JUST Saying.

  • kinda bounces alot eh ?

  • imagine if u muggs own ths car you wuldnt be shit talking bout it no would you fucken douch baggs

  • dont hate me for this but the man with the camera when the car was drivng was fuckin awfull

  • ford or chevy probably wouldnt benefit from it as much as lotus since the car still resembles a lotus car and lotus being a small company needing more ocverage would benefit far more obviously. Im not saying hennesy has done anything wrong just that i can see how it would of benefited both hennesy and lotus.

  • score one for America.... watch out bugatti

  • @USCisgay ...except they didn't actually design anything, really. Don't get me wrong; very impressive piece of machinery, but Bugatti designed the Veyron, from top to bottom, and it's very technologically advanced. This car has a built Corvette engine in a Lotus chassis. It's not comparable.

  • and isnt this the top ear track as well ?

  • isnt the lotis a right sides car cause it was manufactured in Britain? how did u make it in to a left sided car ?

  • @thevipskateteam29 Lotus make left hand drive cars for export, and the car shown here uses a left hand drive Lotus tub. Also, this isn't the Top Gear track, it's Bruntingthorpe Proving Ground. The Top Gear track is at Dunsfold Aerodrome, though they do look very similar in some shots, especially with them both having a dead Boeing 747 in the background.

  • @thevipskateteam29 lotus are sold across the world in both right and left hand drive.

  • you should get that round the nürburgring!

  • What is Steve Jobs doing in this car?

  • kind of a shame that lotus just came out with the next generation exige

  • @Transparent914 It doesn't matter dude, this car hardly has any lotus left in it anyways.

  • @man36021 still it would of been a very good move by lotus to fully back and get their name on the car in order to promote the lotus brand. Afterall this could turn out to be the fastest road car.

  • @1183newman Um...No, they couldn't because the lotus brand is hardly used at all in this vehicle, it's literally just the frame (or unibody, sorry don't know too much about lotus vehicles) and the interior, as the video states.

  • @man36021 how does that stop them from coming to a partneship deal with hennesy exactly? the car looks enough like a lotus exige regardless of actual parts to be recognisable as a lotus derivative and im pretty sure hennesy would certainly benefit from lotus expertise when it comes to handling and promoting the venom.

I just think lotus missed out on a lucrative opportunity with this car. All though considering hennesy's past reputation it was probably the smartest move.

  • @1183newman Alright, so I guess ford and chevy should also benifit from this since thier engine and drivetrain expertise is used in this vehicle? No dude, it doesn't work that way, I mean come on, even the body panels were replaced, and don't confuse things like brakes, and suspension as part of the chassie, as they were replaced too.

  • Turbo Spooling sounds amazing.

  • Camera guy is a rookie couldn't keep up with th e panning shots !!!

  • Look I think that people should stop fighting over things and just accept it. I think that American cars are very powerful and very fast in a straight line and usually ridiculously powerful. The British don't make powerful cars, however, they make light cars with a reasonably powerful engine and are good on corners and technical tracks. Combine them two and your on to a winner. Well done Britain and America I think

  • all carbon fiber body? let that beauty show!! rather than painting over it with a bland yellow. at least put out one car with just a clearcoat over the body!

  • At first I thought hoooly shit this looks like the Lotus Exige, but this car is actually based off of the Exige's chasis. That's why it has the same external appearance.

  • Man that's one hell of a machine! It's awesome!

  • 12:08 Dam that sound awesome.

  • basically a beefed up lotus elise!

  • Um.....

  • It's chevy engine it is not a British car unless it had a gay Aston Martin engine

  • lol 275mph eerm i dont think so. it might be fast but i think it wont get past 235mph with that bad body shape

  • @timHYPERLITE That is not bad body shape. It is actually quite aerodynamic. I agree with you it won't hit 275mph, but it isn't because bad body shape.

  • @timHYPERLITE The top speed of that car is 262 mph, searched it on Google.

  • ***NOTICE*** Nobody mentioned the price. (BTW, at 9:42, what is that black thing under the left light?)

  • Looks like a Lotus on Viagra...

  • @wags1533 the car is based on the lotus exige^^

  • this guy sounds like al gore.

  • Looks like a Lotus on steroids . . .

  • This thing is annoying. Looks good, but never gunna hit the speeds they want it to. If u look at it its the same as a Mclaren F1 :P

  • Is this friggin faster than a bugatti

  • Its funny when SSC Aero and now this Hennessey Venom GT, keeps saying how they didnt want any luxury, any modern technology, no electronics. Therefore its a "real mans car" while in reality is more that they cant afford it in their budgets. Its all good that people try and stuff... Aslong as they are honest about building kit-cars and dont try to compare amateur league to the real thing.

  • Whats the retail on one of these?

  • @bryansimeoli

There is no "retail" Its for all intensive purposes a kit-car. They built 6 or something so far. The price I believe is around 1 million to 1 and a half million dollars. Which must be the most ridiculous gap between price and what you get for your money of any car in the world.

  • @Janusha Why do you act like this?? telling people Brainwashing people that this car is a kit car and it don't have a retail because you hate them..

  • @bryansimeoli Don't listen to Janusha he is nothing but a troll that talks shit about the american press..Don't let him brainwash you

  • However... In america. Anyone is free to weld a frame in their own garage, buy a Harley engine, handlebars, wheels on mailorder, get numberplates on it and sell it as a Chopper, Trike, Whatever.. No crashtesting, no government approval, no nothing. THIS is where you find US supercars at the moment. Saleen S7, Mosler, SSC Aero and now this Hennessey Venom. These are kit-cars by any legal standard. How they are even road legal is a mystery to me. Complete amateur league compared to the real thing.

  • @Janusha The government HAS approvals and crash test on ALL CARS. If you look closely in the interior, you will notice a roll cage. They have it for a reason. i bet they did a crash test with the car. they have to. Oh and the car is carbon fiber, which is super light and but more importantly, super strong... like stronger than steel.

  • look at that spit fire

  • I think top gear uk sucks for the most part, because jeremy clarkson, and his band of monkeys do nothing but bitch american made cars, no matter how good they are. Hennessy should keep this car to themselves, and be happy with the fact that it's the second fastest production car in the world.

  • @man36021

Why do you think they build it in England and build it out of a Lotus... Because americans cant build a supercar. Never did. Infact... Why dont you see if you can name a couple of competitive american produced cars that sells internationally... Not easy is it.

  • @Janusha Dude, you're a joke, just like top gear uk. You act as if americans can't build a supercar, but apparently england can't either, because they needed the americans to completely redesign thier car, in order for it to be remotely fast (thus the reason the car is no longer a lotus). Need more proof? here, ford gt, chevrolet corvette zr1, ssc ultimate aero, dodge viper, saleen s7, and the ssc tutara (soon to come) all of which take giant shits on your english "supercars".

  • @man36021 Americans didn't 'completely redesign' this car - the car's designer and chassis engineering are both British, as Hennessey openly admits. The Saleen S7 was also designed in Britain. And while America makes some impressive cars including the Ford GT and Corvette ZR1 they hardly take 'giant shits' on English supercars, as Top Gear's power laps chart shows. As for the Venom GT, like the Ford GT40 and Shelby AC Cobra, it's a great example of Anglo-American collaboration.

  • @man36021 Firstly, the S7 was designed for Saleen by race car builders RML (Saleen obviously did the engine). Secondly, while the Ford GT40 was indeed designed and built by Ford it was done at a special facility Ford set up in England (apart from the MkIV which was all done in US) - much like Hennessey have set up a special facility in England to build the Venom GT. Thirdly, I never said the car was British, I said it was Anglo-American. And yes, credit does go to Hennessey for creating it.

  • @man36021 The GT40 wasn't just built for Le Mans but for international GT racing, including US. With no experience of building sports racing cars Ford decided to have the car designed by people who did, so set up a team headed by Lola boss Eric Broadly. So the GT40 is a British design (apart from MkIV). As for the S7, while it was built in the US by Saleen, like Ford they had no experience of sports car design so gave the job to someone who had, RML in England. Google RML, it's on their website.

  • @t45tube You know what, I think you're right about the gt40, I read that the first of the gt40 designs used a british chassie in a book i've got (same situation with the cobra), however the gt40 was built to compete in lemans bro, you might want to check that out yourself. As for the s7, I found out you were right about that too, but like the venom, the only part that resembles anything british is the chassie (it's always the chassie, lol) everything els was designed by saleen, or ford.

  • @t45tube Aside from everything els though, I want to say thanks for being resonable about everything instead of being a complete dick like that Janusha guy, I mean, at least you can state the facts, and teach people a little something while also being able to admit when somebody els is right.

  • @man36021 And respect to you sir. Far too many YouTube threads degenerate into slanging matches. Regarding the GT40 and Le Mans, while the GT40 did compete in the full calendar of international GT racing, yes, Le Mans was undoubtedly the main target. Hard to believe from the scant coverage it gets these days, but back then Le Mans attracted massive media coverage, and winning Le Mans was probably worth more in terms of publicity and prestige than winning all the other races combined.

  • @t45tube I know right? When a company won the manufacturer title in le mans, it definatly meant high regards, too bad it ain't like that today. The grand am's the next best thing I guess.

  • @man36021

America can build a supercar ? ofcourse they CAN build a supercar. Anyone can. The technology is out there for anyone. Nothing prevents americans from building supercars except their determination not to. Infact Show me ONE time when america has aimed fro the upper quality market. Show me ONE and Ill show you 250 European ones. Ford GT is british, Saleen is a bankrupt tuneshop. Viper died. SSC Tutara doesnt exsist yet and the SSC Aero was a non production kit-car. Try harder.

  • @Janusha You know why there are very few supercars in production in America is because it is impractical, and way too expensive. The government taxes the heck out of cars with "bad emissions". Ever since OPEC put embargoes on oil to America, Americans realized that they are dependent on OPEC. Therefore American car companies began to make cars to fit the general populations' demand which were cars with more mpgs. So supercars get left behind and mostly forgotten. Supercars are just not practical

  • @Janusha To continue on my last post, a large percentage of supercars sales are in America. It is cheaper to import cars rather than produce them. For example, when NAFTA was made, major American companies moved their production plants to Mexico because it was cheaper to operate, and because the government wasn't breathing down their necks. Same thing with cars, except there are tariffs..... Before you began talking nonsense, be able to back up your argument.

  • @TurnBaller94

Impractical, expensive, Bah... Ive heard all the excuses. Its not just supercars and hypercars for the rich america DONT make. Its also GT cars, sporty saloons, sporty SUVs, hothatches, hatchbacks, traditional sportscars, track cars, superminis and certainly no executives. Infact... nothing aimed at the upper market. Not ONE car from BMW quality and up. Leaving that entire market 100% open fro Euro brands to dominate. How americans cant understand this, is a mystery to me.

  • Also... Why so provoked over the price of supercars? In a country where you can easily buy a 50 million dollar mansion by the sea but as soon as a car costs more than 100 000 dollars its somehow "wrong" and flawed and entirely unamerican. At the same time you guys buy 40% of our supercars while we buy NONE of yours. Cant you see that quality sells ? And cant you see that if they were too expensive. nobody would buy them, they would go bankrupt like american brands, problem solved. But they dont.

  • @Janusha "Easily buy a 50 million dollar mansion" are you crazy! A very, very, very, VERY small amount of people could possibly afford a 5 million dollar house, but a 50 million dollar house. That's just being stereotypical. Not cool bro, not cool. Don't be stereotypical, it will get you in trouble.

  • @TurnBaller94

Wow... way to completely ignore the entire point. Im saying americans understand the market for Rolex, designer shoes and villas by the sea for those that can afford them but cannot see the point in upper market cars simply because america dont make them. The irony is obviously that every single person in USA with above average income is forced to buy an import if he wants a quality car. Again... How you bewildered flagwaving fools are unable to see this, is a mystery to me.

  • @Janusha They are not forced to import a car for "quality". Why do you think this video was made: to show off a quality american car. What about a Corvette, or the car this video is about, Venom GT. AGAIN: The reason why American car companies don't make many supercars is because they want to make money. The majority of buyers are MIDDLE CLASS, so car companies make more cars suited for the MIDDLE CLASS'S needs, to make more money! Supercars don't bring as much profit as your average car.

  • @TurnBall94

To show off a quality american car... You see this is where things differ between the american amateur league and the real supercar world. What they have done here is put a Corvette engine into a british made Lotus Elise. They have built it in England with english engineers. And thats all it takes to claim a "quality american product" just like the Tesla Roadster. Built by Lotus in England, then shipped to California where its sold as an american product. Claims, hype and flagwaving.

  • I dont get it.... Is this idea of always going cheap really working for you guys ? Your cheaply built cars should be international successes then shouldnt they. I mean.. Who wouldnt like their cars to be cheaper. The reality is however... Nobody wants cheap cater-for-all squeeky plastic for the flagwaving masses. We want REAL cars instead. Even if they cost more. If your Corvettes, Vipers, Mustangs and... the rest of your cars, really were great. Why does nobody actually buy them.

  • @Janusha "Nobody actually buys them", yes they do. Google the total 2011 sales for Ford, Chrysler, and GM. You will find that they sell a lot of vehicles. And I have been in many cars, and none of them had "squeeky plastics". Most cars today have plastic in them. Not just American cars but ALL cars, and none of the ones i have been in where squeeky. And whats with your "flagwaving masses"? Have pride in your country.

  • @TurnBaller94

I believe pride should be reserved for personal achievements rather than what is essentially the accident of being born in your country. Why cant you guys be HAPPY about being american rather than so god damn proud that you need to stick your flag in everybodys faces on a constant basis.

The total sales for Ford is wildly misleading as the best selling Fords like Focus and Fiesta are european Fords built in England / Germany. Your "all american" Ford GT was mainly a European car-

  • -with an american engine. Sold at a loss to promote the brand name in ameirca. What I ment was obviously your american performance cars. Corvettes, Mustangs, Vipers. If they were as good as american hype tells us. Why arent they international successes. Point is... European and Japanese cars sell in all countries. American cars sell only in america.

  • @Janusha they aren't international success because other large counties dominate the market. Its like Holden. I have never seen one before because they are specifically made for Australia. Same with american car companies.

For the "accident of being born in your country", they are no such thing as an accident; things happen for a reason. You should have both pride for personal achievements and for your country. Just out of curiosity, what country are you from?

  • @TurnBaller94

I dont hide where Im from but usually when ameircans ask me. Its so that they can find some way to discredit me and my nationality.

As for your cars... Ive heard all the excuses. Quality cars are too expensive, greedy unions, greedy dealers. Well... Ironically Nissan, Toyota, BMW, Mercedes and others are setting up factories in USA now because america has become cheap. Making money in the same factories where US brands failed.

  • As for your car sales... I can promise you GM would build a car for each household in Europe if they could sell the damn things. However their prodcts are made in Mexico, Brazil, North Africa, Korea and China and they simply dont have a good enough quality to be in demand in Europe. These are failures. Not business decissions.

  • @man36021

Hahahahaha they had to source Lotus to "save time" are you completely nuts ? Ive never heard someone so full of excuses and bullshit. A copy is a copy. And the only time its justifiable to copy other peoples work is when you are honest about not being able to do it yourself. If this thing looks good, its because its a Lotus, If it handles, its because its a Lotus. If anyone actually buys it, its because its a god damn Lotus. The rest of this car is an amateur tuneshop job.

  • @Janusha Actually, it handles well because hennessy built the whole suspension system, and re-did all the body pannels for decreased drag, and increased down force, along with creating good geraing setups, to properly transfer all that power to the ground. The car goes fast, because it's powered by an LS motor, and uses a ricaro 6 speed transmission from the ford gt. It stops well because it appears to use brembo six-piston breaks. Sorry, don't see much lotus there.

  • @man36021

Built the suspension... for fucks sake. Car companies dont build suspension. They buy it from other companies. Hennessey is a tuneshop from Texas and sure as hell never built a suspension system in their lives. Whatever downforce there is, comes from Lotuses own bodywork that they sure as hell didnt build. Stop talking rubbish now. The car is fast because its got an enormous american engine tuned to the point of explosion. And for this modded Lotus they are asking over a million.

  • haha if you dont see much Lotus here, you are blind and too busy waving that flag to see anything. Its amazing how you guys NEED to claim other peoples work for your own simply because USA dont built upper market vehicles. This thing isnt even built in USA. Not even built by americans. Not even BASED around an american car. What the hell are you waving flags for here ?

  • @Janusha This car is available in the U.S. and it is a time, and money reason that it is built in the UK. This car was actually designed by americans, as you should cearly see, because hennessy is american, and just take a quick gander at who is talking in this video. We have a right to wave falgs, but I don't know why your ass is here talking shit again.

  • @man36021

This car is available in the US after its been shipped there from England. Whats your point. Its like when you flagwaving bewildered fools claim ownership of Tesla Roadster. Even tho its designed and built 100% at the Lotus factory in England. Or how about the Fisker Karma and GMs Opel Speedster. Also a Lotus. Designed by americans my arse. Hennessey is a tuneshop. Its just a 30 000 dollar Lotus with a 20 000 dollar tuned Corvette engine and for that they are asking a million.

  • @Janusha Tesla, is simply a branch owned by lotus ( I assume, because I don't know much about them nor do I care, as they aren't very popular) And you can keep saying it's a lotus all you want, but truth of the matter is, it's just a chassie, hell you can't even tell me what's "so lotus" about it. It was designed by american engineers, using american parts. Evrything lotus about it was destroyed as soon as hennessy got thier hands on it, and made it a beast.

  • @Janusha As for opel, that is british, they have thier own engineers that make thier own cars, based on the consumer interest in that area, with that said, it's simply owned by gm, so the money they make is pocketed by gm. Same story went, when ford owned aston martain, range rover, and jaguar.

  • @Janusha Surprise surprise lol

  • @Janusha Guess what retard, hennessy buildss severlal aftermarket parts for several vehicles. You're the only person talking shit (rubbish, really? ) And like the video states, it;s literally just the chassie, and interior.

  • @Janusha, US cars aren't big international success because after all the taxes they cost twice the US price.

  • @brudel001

You mean after all the taxing that EVERY GOD DAMN CAR is put through ?

You could say the exact oposite is true. Because in USA every imported car gets an import tax to push them up in price to protect domestic brands. Then on top of it american government has decided all imported cars are luxury items so they slap luxury tax on them aswell. To force them up in price and out of the market. Still European brands dominate in USA. In Europe atleast we tax all cars the same.

  • @Janusha, I look at prices at the moment and for example new M5 (F10) costs over 100k$ in US, in germany it costs also over 100k€, meaning that its lot more expensive in europe than in US. Or are the US taxes added later?

  • @brudel001

BMW are quite open about selling their cars in USA with lesser quality. To be more competitive price-wise. As they say... Americans dont notice the difference anyway.

Its also likely that the tax we impose on our own cars is still higher than the combined taxing americans slap on all imports inorder to force them up in price. There are differences between countries that can make a car cost twice as much somewhere else. Also some BMWs for the US market are made in USA and avoid taxes.

  • Comment removed

  • they focused on performance mainly and like it says this is not even to 10% a lotus anymore, keep in mind hennessy is not actually a car builder so this is very impressive to say the least.

clarkson can suck monkey balls as far as i`m concerned :D greetings from germany

  • @CHUUMPASS

Haha not even 10% Lotus. Yeah. Ive heard that before. When I drove the Tesla Roadster at a car show. They told me it was 7% Lotus. Until I told them the Tesla Roadster is built 100% at the Lotus factory in England, then shipped to USA where its sold as an "american" car. If this Hennessey Venom handles well, its because its a Lotus, if it looks good its because its a Lotus. If people buy them, its because its a Lotus. There is no getting away from that its a Lotus.

  • If Clarkson tells us they use a Lotus because they cant make their own... Well.. Isnt that true? These guys run a tuneshop in Texas. They never built a car in their lives. These guys dont work with Lotus. They simply buy one and mod it themselves. And for this they have the balls to ask over a million dollars. Makes a Bugatti Veyron sound like a bargain. Atleast a Veyron will become a collectible car and will rise in price over the years. Kit-cars traditionally dont.
