Prawn Biryani my ASS! She totally ruined the dish. She should have made the authentic dish instead of pandering to westernized cooking technique's. She just made white rice with prawn goo, and called it a Biryani. WTF!
this lady doesn't really know what is cooking............i guess she should take some cooking classes and not waste others time like this.....go get lost and never do cooking again.it is a big insult for cooking when it is U cooking.......
this is not a good prawn briyani...after u mix the prawn and rice. it should be cook on slow fire so that the aroma of the spices goes into the rice...it'll take more than a hour to cook a good briyani....this is not authentic indian cooking....
Also please tie up your hair while you cook. You shake too much and makes me nervous. It might fall into the food. I noticed this in your other videos also. Thanks.
Just watch to bloody fools who are being fooled to watch Prawn Biryani !! I feel so sorry for them!! The woman cannot cook. This is NOT PRAWN BIRYANI. It is Not even a Biryani for that matter !! No biryani has tomatoes. Its just a regular curry dish with rich on top to let it bake!! Go home lady and focus more on your hair and fashion. I do like your "Fantastic" British accent though! It was Fantastic !!
@21nilly Damn right, sister. People read the comments before seeing the video. These Brits seem to associate the name 'biryani' with any damned Indian dish they can lay their hands on. A tomato-prawn pulao would be an apt name for this dish.
@21nilly Most biryanis do have tomatoes especially if its a muslim biryani or a Hyderabadi biryani. They are ones who introduced biryani India so using tomatoes is perfectly authentic. Its misleading to say otherwise.
this is not how we make biryani.....this is just a prawn curry with rice(with spices)......this kind of Biryani is called fake Biryani ....to see real Biryani cooking see Vah re Vah chef's stuff.......he is so good!!
What the F!! This isn't biryani at all. This is as fake as it gets and to put that on utube, no wonder ppl are reacting negatively to it. This is pre caca.
This looks good - the last biryani I made took me three hours. I look forward to trying this one, which to me seems to hit all the most important notes, without the fuss.
it may not be authentic, but i do commend her for trying to spread Indian food in a manner that satiates the European's palate. For a more Indian way of cooking Biryani, search Hyderabadi Mutton Biryani, by the user vahchef.
I’m all for authenticity , this woman doesn’t know what she is talking about, her recipes are so close to what TACO BELL, not genuine. I have friends from India and I’ve seen how they cook, real home Indian food. Her food is so fake. The same thing is going to happen like it did to Mexican food, people think that anything with lettuce, a gulp of green stuff, sour cream and yellow chesses is Mexican food, it’s not. Please have respect for traditions that includes the FOOD.
This Biryani is made for Yuppies. This is the sort of trendy food you'll find in a new pub. It's not meant for Indian folks.
Most people are intimidated to try and cook Indian food. This show is a nice introduction to an easy recipe for everyone to follow.
The audience are not experts at Indian food.
Give the lady a break for introducing people to shrimp biryani. More people might even visit the local curry house to compare their homemade biryani with the restaurant's version.
@deekay1066 No offense but english curies and indian curries are different, the curry shops in england actually serve decent curry, any english curry would be rated as 2/10 in india cos there used to the traditional or i call them "shit curries" for short.

Biryani's can either be baked in an oven or cooked on a hob in a pot.
