  • lol, that drum beat is perfect for a old guy, nice and slow and EASY,like drums for the ederly!!! LOL

  • la puta madre!!!

  • Mick Fleetwood still going strong.. I don't know if Peter Green is still playing?

  • simple perfection....

  • this guy is good

  • fleetwood were originally a proper blues band.

    back to basics.

    cummon green where are ya

  • fucking brill.

  • A fine example, showing Mick Fleetwood's backgrounds in sixties' R&B (before his leave to U.S.A.).

  • Magnifico!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Excellent !!

  • @grovesgeo Your stupid. Get your facts right you JACKWAGON!!!

  • Santana's got nothing on Peter Green's original version

  • Great!!!♫♥♫

  • santana's version is great but this is FUCKIN great *.*

  • who is that guitar player ??

  • @leealpha2177 That's Rick Vito... he was in Fleetwood Mac in the late 80s/early 90s

  • this is ok but peter green cant be beat he had blues in his blood.

  • What guitar is he playing???

  • @PinoKakelkip Fender Jazzmaster from the looks of things.

  • I saw Fleetwood Mac do this song at Eagles in Seattle in 1970.

The bass player kissed Fleetwood, and Fleetwood's pants were coming off and he had wooden balls like tassels for a belt.

Peter Green was drunk... but he was still great, unlike Greg Lake or Jim Morrison that could not sing when drunk.

  • that went up his nose for many years. But he is the glue for F

  • rude- like having a lip sync guy filling in for the New Beetles(a Mick chip in some licks for Then Play On- as a writer/ he's just trying to get the money back)

  • straripane !! ;))

  • the Drummer RLZ

  • Playing this gig , the first thing i would have sayed is : I WOULD LIKE TO DEDICATE THIS TUNE TO PETER GREEN . Gotta show some respect to this great forgotten man !

  • OMG I GOT WOOD FROM THE GUITAR SOLO STARTING @ 0:51

  • GREAT!

  • Thanks!

  • the drummer

  • Which one is Mick Fleetwood?

  • @streetwhereulive The drummer.

  • I must say to you guy, it really doesn`t matter if you look old, fleetwood play amazingly good stuff that`s all, who cares about looks...We love music,it doesn`t matter about age. music are ageless and so the grand musicians.....

  • Why does Mick make faces all the time? lol

  • @PAPASHANEbreh

It's called feeling the tune dude...

  • love the drummer style

  • Such a cool way to start a Monday ... excellent stuff!

  • is that rick vito, jeez he looks old

  • I play bass with Ron Thompson weekly and when ever he takes off on Black Magic Woman I know he got it first hand. Nothing like feeling closer to a song than this.

  • Happy Birthday Mick!

  • please don't crank guitar up.

this jam is leaning way more to the light-ez-listening electric band.

cranking would probably be frowned on here coz someone would get drowned out. He is certainly making good use of the tone and volume and got a real good sound. the wholeband does. its a GREAT example of dynamics here too. Fleets always looks like he's having a good time. Good jam

  • this guy is very good, but it would hurt him to crank the guitar and get a rawer live sound going.

  • Love all the versions of this song Peter Green ,Santana and MIcks band with Rick up the front, out standing work I just keep coming back for more.

  • cool shit, it seems mick has come full circle w/ his bands..

  • nobody cares what anyone thinks... but this is awesome

  • Ő is annak a Szabó Gábornak az egyik tanítványa, aki a magyar népzenét elültette a világ-rock/blues-ban!!

  • Hello everyone, there a guy in here calling himself "vinnothelizard"...never comment on his remarks, this guy has a very severe mental problem, he cannot take comments as a human being and starts messaging privately using bad language...

It's time you grow up man, if you have a problem go to get psychological help and stop bothering other people!!!!

  • This is what us the music lovers call "ETERNAL"...

  • Must have come from dark ages Rick Vito was unknown to me, but I love this version of Black Magic Woman, his voice and guitar work is perfect and Mick and the band are just incredible.

  • @cappsie57 santana is no great shake at the guitar!!! he is a rough player with basic skills and a load of noise!! he is never easy on the ear and uses loads of reverb and echo and distortion!! i was playing like him wen i was 16 !!!!

  • They should have just included John McVie in there and called it Fleetwood Mac! I'm sure Mick would have been more than happy to have John.

  • lol one dislike, welp there has to be someone that hates music

  • @sparksmeow LMAO for sure :)

  • much better than santanas version.. class act!!

  • @vinnothelizard i dont think so santanas version kick ass!

  • @vinnothelizard Agree :)

  • @vinnothelizard It's Peter Green Fleetwood Mac song to begin with, after all ;)

  • Super this version !!!!

  • fucken nice version!

    who's that guitar playin'?

  • @MrBaebel Rick Vito. He was in Fleetwood Mac for a couple years in the late 80s/early 90s.

  • One of the best Peter Green songs. Fleetwood Mac ruled 1967-1970. This is a good cover though.

  • MUSIC PLAYED STRAIGHT FROM THE HEART!!!! RICK VITO IS THE BEST!!

  • Kill The Guy With The Thumbs Down!!!

  • I can only decribe listening to this to be like having some crazy tantric ear orgasum

i feel like i have just melted into my chair

  • great song i like carlos santana's better though but this is greeaat!!

  • SUPERB!

  • Just awesome.

  • Versione gustosissima di BMW! Grandi!!!

  • Spectacular!

  • Just beau-ti-ful!

  • What a great band.

  • Simply outstanding!

  • you can put them down all you want, but this is great stuff

  • You'd think he would have had Peter Green be inducted into the Rock & Roll HOF with him and the rest of Fleetwood Mac, but no,he just uses the guys songs at shows and shit, what an ass.

  • @megafaded69 Green's a shadow of himself and they're still friends by the way.

  • buena la version original de The Mick Fleetwood Blues Band, que despues Santana lo reactualizo en 1970 en su Abraxas.Gracias por subir tu video saludos desde Peru.

  • Mick Fleetwood is an ace (He can act, too!) this is a sweet version! I like his band. so thanks to: ck'52 for the share, You Tube for the space, and long live and God Save Mick Fleetwood!

  • THAT GUITAR HAS NICE CLEAR TONES AWSOME

  • yes

  • Always kind of wondered how Janis would have sung Black Magic Woman

  • i st ill play "pios bird " album today.

  • Mick Fleetwood. still an amazing blues man. I think blues is still his first musical love.

  • Best song ever ruined by Santana

  • This is a fantastic version of this song!

  • @tiborzkarate It's Rick Vito who was in F/Mac in the late 80s.

  • That REVEREND guitar sure does sound sweet

  • 8:11 EPIC FACE :D

  • The spirit of Peter Green and Fleetwood Mac play once again... Respect!

  • @blackdog0032

    maybe... it's blues... thats respectable...

but it is not THE great Peter Green... that guy, he really got the blues

this guy sounds like to perfect and nice to be blues, were is the overdriven voice???,

it's nice... but got no soul

Blues do not came from your fingers or your mind, it cames straight from the heart

  • Richard Gere sure can play that geetar

  • that guitarist practices a fair amount

  • I just hope Peter Green makes a dime off this and all the rest...probably not.

  • Vito does a great job on this Peter Green tune, I much prefer this to santana. It would be nice to see Green join Mick again

  • God exists

  • Just damn GOOD.

  • Finely somone who plays the right intro for peter green

  • no i said its not santanas song

  • @riquelme64

But Santana did have the better-known version of it in 1970, which is also interpolated with "Gypsy Queen" originally by Gabor Szabo. The lead singer and keyboardist went on to be one of the founding members of Journey. His name? Gregg Rolie. Another Journeyman, guitarist Neal Schon (currently the only founding member of Journey now), was a member of Santana shortly after "Black Magic Woman" became a hit but like Gregg Rolie, he too quit the group in '72.

  • which guitar is that?i just recognized that that is not santanas song.nice song

  • @riquelme64 i think you ment to say that it is santanas song

  • @riquelme64 no i stand to be corrected it isnt santanas song

  • This live version of BLACK MAGIC WOMEN is great! No need for Peter Green on this one.

  • Yeah, Mick is a great drummer. /Agreed ^^

  • I like that snare better than an over-tensioned snare played by some pup.

    Mick is a great drummer.

  • But where is Peter Green?

  • @alinkitar He have left the building :)

  • It's magic. And I love Mick Fleetwood. But he deserves a better snare drum

  • WoW... Wild eyed Mick Fleetwood.... He dos'nt change.... Still as good as ever.

  • Not only is the music fantastic, but also the video- and sound-quality is perfect!

    Sadly that's very uncommon for a YouTube-video...

  • this is the shit man tunes all the way fan friggen tastic

  • Fantastic!!

  • very good cover in the original style. Does justice to the original PG recordings.

  • This is alright, just wish it was a little dirtier or heavier.

  • Is that Glenn Fry ( Frye ) playing the guitar???

    JR

  • @TheJcreg , no thats rick vito, who joined fleetwood mac along with billy burnette after lyndsey buckingham left after the tango in the night album.

  • @rudeboyread I appreciate that! Now that I'm retired, I'm enjoying backtracking on some of the groups I have always liked a lot. Thejcr

  • @TheJcreg , no worries, you should buy the new dvd out on peter green in that case, i'm awaiting delivery as we speak...

  • @rudeboyread I've seen and heard some of Green's FM stuff and to be honest, I wasn't too crazy about it. Maybe he has gotten better with age. From a commercial point of view the group soared after LB and SN joined and I have really liked their music from that point on. I am also a blues fan and really liked the above video. I guess MF is back in his element.

  • @TheJcreg lol NO

  • Show!!!!! irado, muito bom.

  • nice video.
