  • how can someone dislike this? some1 is pathetic

  • God bless you preston... question why did he gain so much weight

  • @themodernboy1 Because he wasn't able to exercise..

  • This video honestly brought tears to my eyes. I'm a senior in highschool, one of the top 100 safety prospects in the country, and this whole concussion thing has convinced me that my choice of college will NOT be based on football and I will NOT play collegiate football. It's scary, that in just two hits you could die... I've got way more I want to accomplish in my life. I love football, and I can respect Preston for wanting to play. That trainer should have stopped him though. So sad..

  • And still with a smile on his face.

  • Kind of makes you feel like never complaining about anything ever again huh?

  • man i cant speak right now i think im gonna cry. he had everything taken away from him and it really helps me see how much i have to be thanful for i dedicate my life now to awareness on second impact

  • the guy who hit him is a pussy. Try to make a real tackle instead of trying looking hard, you dick.

  • @cheezy543 wow no dont blame the person that hit him... thats just football. blame the fuckin retarded ass trainer that sent that poor kid back out onto the field

  • God Bless

  • is it me or does it seem like all the names in here are french but never give up preston, u inspire me to keep playing!

  • My son will play basketball. No football.

  • I recently got a concussion skateboarding. And the doctors told me about Second Impact Syndrome, and I totally blew them off. All I wanted to do was get back on my skateboard. I was planning on starting back 1 week earlier than the doctor planned. But after watching this, I am going to be super careful about this injury and realize that I can wait a little longer. Life is more important than skateboarding

  • Fuck this sucks...

  • @EsAnasoonaOva we dont really need these kindda of comments here ohk just be thankful it wasnt you and take your rude comments on somewhere else

  • @kylerawr1995 I'm sorry if you cannot read but i said that this sucks....if it's the profanity that got to you then you could have said something because in no way was this comment rude nor did it offend anyone so i sugest you just sit back in that chair and think about yourself rather than what a rude comment is or is not.

  • I love his voice but it is Sooooooooo sad

  • My bf has had 6 concussions already and almost had his 7 th. This made me cru

  • @kmcheerleader01 Show him this video then. SIS is rare, but life can slap us in the face with anything, anytime, anywhere. I'm speaking from experience here. Life doesn't give a shit about your plans, your dreams or your fears, if you aren't careful it'll remind you how insignificant your hopes and dreams are compared to a simple thing called health. It's not worth it. Not even to land the championship winning touchdown, is it worth it to play with a concussion.

  • saddest thing....made me cry

  • Wow. This was really insightful for my presentation on concussions!

  • i don't know what to say. a handsome young man struck down so young in life.

  • i was trying to contain my tears then I just broke to the ground crying. My parents are both doctors, and my brother is passionate about football. My parents aren't the over-protective type, but they would never let him play football, because they were afraid. I finally understand why. I'm still crying.

  • wow that is really sad i feel so sorry for him

  • We actually watched this video today in my science class. After this movie ended because coaches in even highschool football would of put a kid like this back in. After this movie ended (and during) I just cried because it could happen to anyone. This has to be the most inspiring video I have ever seen.

  • this is touching. Your very inspiring. Thank you.

  • I'm a student at Ithaca College's Athletic Training program. Our program director emailed this to all of us. Preston's story opened my eyes to just how devastating SIS can be. I will never allow myself to make the kind of mistake LaSalle's ATC make.

  • never give up preston, i dont have an experience that compares, but i can tell you your a whole hell of alot stronger than 99% of this world

  • Everytime i put on my jersey Im going to dedicate it to you preston you are my hero bro

  • my heart goes out to preston. i admire his courage and determination. you're a hero buddy!
