Ah such good memories, Cinemaware games made my favorite games like Rocket Ranger, King of Chicago, and defender of the crown. Sid Meier Pirate's sucked vasts amount of my time as well as Harpoon. For some RPG action DnD Pools of Radiance and curse of the Azure bonds were very satisfying experiences. The Amiga offer some of the best gaming experiences and it definately had the best graphics and sound at the time.
wow..I played every single one of those on my Amiga 500. This just triggered my long term memory...oh the many hours spent on that thing, and the reason I didn't go to a prom. lol
I'm already level 62, and own above 52 Million coins. I've truly just been trying to play for 3 weeks. Should you wish to know just how I got that good pay a visit to beatcafeworldXcom (replace X with . )
@hakamere Yes the 2nd game was about killer ants, well giant ants anyway :-) I loved that game, especially how you'd end up in hospital all the time, even after a night with one of the ladies :-)
Anyway the game was called either "They came from the hiils" or "It came from the hills", I just can't remember which.
It brought back many happy memories when I was just a teen.
I remember 2 other favourite games which I didn't see:
one was a turn-based game set in Vietnam, where you have to control some soldiers that had crashed landed behind enemy lines; and the other was a sort of shogun total war.
@leamog I guess that whas an answer to Spentastic? BTW games today are not awesome, they are just pumped up with cool graphics and sound effects but still shallow, with few exceptions..
OMg ports of call and wings.. those were just GREAT.. i just can´t seem to remember any game as great as them.. maybe turrican 2 and silver surfer,, i spent like a year completing SS
I remember a Amiga 500 RPG (of sorts) where you were investigating something (a murder?) in a house filled with unpleasant French characters. ("Guy", was the name of one.) You could collect candles, ropes... there was a secret door in the cellar, and you were supposed to climb into the well outside where I always died. Anyone know what I'm talking about and remember the name of the game?

Supercars 2 was great, as was Speedball 2, Xenon 2, Gods, Kick Off, SWOS and Supremacy. Wings was my personal favourite.

Games back then were more in depth than games today. Why are modern games so basic and in my opinion boring? I'm talking ps3 and xbox360 by the way.

Amigas ruled in their time. I can't believe there was no footage of Gods in this clip though.

I loved my Amigas back in the day. But many of those games in the video were multiplatform so technically they are not "Amiga games".
