  • Lame Mayor! Media whore! we need a new Mayor!

  • the 49ers got San Jose, How about the Detroit Lions or any low performing NFL team, Chargers Should be considered

  • i think the Raiders will move back to L.A. plus they belong there

  • @Ducknatory007 ~ Bullshit do they. The Silver and Black were only there for five fucking minutes, the Rams made LA their home for nearly 50 years.

  • ....Rams?

  • It will be the chargers

  • nee.. we have the trojans!! lets take the trojan to a new level

  • No Raiders here please!!!!!!

    ill take the jaguars instead!

  • @Maldonado365 Toooooo bad.

Jaguars resigned a lease to stay in Jacksonville.

    Los Angeles Raiders

  • I wouldn't mind having the Jags come here. College Football dominates northern Florida anyway with U. of Florida & Florida St. I also would hope Casey Wasserman & Tim Leiweke get their stadium project off the ground and scrap ideas for building it in Industry.

  • 2013 L.A. RAIDERS!!!!!!!!

  • KILLA!!!!

  • Sorry Raiders fans in LA, the Raiders just signed a lease to remain in Oakland until 2013. The Raiders are off the list!!!

  • whats sad is.. if a team moves there the people wont support it... they didnt before... they will do what the LA folks do.. go to the beach.. or watch the Lakers

  • u know there should just be an expansion team...but i think the chargers might move to la b/c they are still negotiating with qualcomm

  • The Bills and Vikings are teams i would not want to see move because those cities do support there teams and there are alot of history in those cities with those teams and i know people there would be crushed especially buffalo

  • You are right Jacksonville Cant support an NFL team that part of florida already had a football team the Bucs, the jags will have to move even if they dont move to LA ,there is talk about if they dont end up going to la about moving to Orlando

  • Comment removed

  • That is true a lot teams are more talking about moving becuz they are using LA as Leverage to get what they want from the cities they are in now, i would be shocked to hell if the 49ers moved for sure, to me the best bet out of all these teams would be the Chargers because the Chargers did originally were LA and they would have all the San Diego fan base and most of the LA fan base because i know some of people from LA would Stay Raiders fans ..and of course the Jaguars.

  • no they didn't they haven't signed nothing lease is still up in 2014, just give it up stl is not a football town its a baseball town. people really dont care about the rams there espically since they are doing so horrible now

  • Well, if the Jags keep on losing money for 3 straight years. They could be heading somewhere else. They sold out all of their games last year. They lost 17,000 ticketholders and the economy caused their attendence to drop!!! LA wants a team that will move next year. the Jags had 30 more years left on their lease in Jacksonville!!!

  • but something tells me it will end up being the Jaguars

  • They will go after a team after the Super Bowl. They will probably go after the Chargers or the Jags. The Jags suffered very low attendence and average 42,000 a game. The Chargers are having trouble with their stadium and highly likely to leave San Deigo for LA. And oh yeah, Roski says if one of the three California teams don't come, they won't built it. That's goes for other 4 teams that is on that list. LA Chargers or LA Jags!!!

  • i also seen an article now that the Buffalo Bills want to move to LA and Change the Team name to the LA Buffaloes ,the one problem with moving an out of state team like the jags is that it will split fan base if the most people in LA are mostly prob still Raiders fans right now if the jags move there that would take base away from the raiders who are already a very small market team now if the raiders move to LA they will keep most Oakland fans and the fan base already in LA for them

  • also one more thing there are also rumblings about the raiders going back to LA or even the Rams to go back to LA ,i would have to guese of all these teams the average person from LA would prefer the 1st Raiders or the 2ndRams right??

  • ugly fucking stadium more like 1980s design

    Cowboy stadium look awesome

  • The senate is overwhelmingly supportive for the stadium, so it can create over 18,000 jobs and could fix the down economy. I know that walnut is a quiet place but things do change and with this kind of economy and the fact that thousands of people are jobless, the stadium is more attractive then it was while back.

  • james wagner from svg tribune has reported that an agreement in principle has been reached with the city of walnut.

  • well, when i talked to the mayor of walnut, he said that there will be no agreement, and they will not stop fighting. I good friend of mine is a city coucil member and she said they are not considering an agreement. They probably received an offer from the developer in a certain amount of money, but they aren't taking it.

  • Well if it isn't my favorite terrorist in training. Its almost over for your whining group of drunken failed politicians. You should be happy that Diamond Bar settled peacefully, they got more mitigation goodies than Walnut. Now on to crush the stupid quasi-citizens group.

  • The Chargers are highly likely to move to LA in 2011!!!!

  • I am not a big fan of striping teams from one city to give it to another city, i always prefer expansion but in this case it looks like a team will be moving to LA soon yeah the Chargers are most likley to be moving to LA so you will have the Los Angeles Chargers but don't count out the possibilty of the Jacksonville Jaguars moving there or an outside chance the Vikings might move

  • I really want the Chargers to play in this new stadium. Contrary to popular belief , there are many die hard Charger fans in L.A. and all throughout SOCAL from TJ to to Ventura.

  • Fuck no it has to be the Raiders

  • Realistically, Ed Roski had some bad business deals with Al Davis years ago and chances are the Raiders will not be considered. Unless Al is willing to sell a majority of the team to Roski and then retire, which won't happen.

  • No Raiders please

  • The death of my little town...DB...

  • do you not see the houses bordering the proposed site? those people are really in a bad position, and do not deserve a stadium built in their backyard.

  • Don't worry Ma77hew, you'll just blow up the stadium right?

Osama Bin Laden would be proud of you, you little terrorist in training.

  • dude puts me in mind of dan rather or a retarded richard nixon. I don't see why the coliseum is updated like soldier field, just minimize the size of it

  • Oh I forgot,

Rams: Despite Georgia Frontiere died. Her kids are selling the team to a local investor(s). But keeping them in St. Louis. Saints: Benson is hoping for NOLA to build him a new stadium. No such luck. Potential relocations: SA or MTL.

  • BOOOO!!! no NFL STADIUM!!!! BUILD IT SOMEWHERE ELSE, DONT LET THIS DESTROY A WEALTHY, NICE COMMUNITY THERE ARE FAR BETTER SITES FOR THIS STADIUM, DONT DESTROY MY HOMETOWN!!!! MY FRIEND WILL LOSE HIS HOUSE!!! DONT DO IT!

  • Meanwhile, the other NFL franchises to be speculated for a possible move into LA? Most unlikely! 49ers: DeBartolo-York is still committed keep the team in the Bay Area. Whether if it is in San Francisco or not! Vikings: Wilf is still determined to maintain his team in the Twin Cities. He is almost closing into a deal to build a new stadium. Bills: Once, Wilson passes away. The franchise will most likely relocate into Toronto.

  • If LA does get an NFL franchise? It will most likely be a relocation team or two. Chargers: Spanos is still searching to build a new stadium in San Diego. No such luck! Jaguars: Weaver is negotiating to sell his team. Poor fan attendance in Jacksonville! Raiders: Once, Davis kicks the can. Oakland is a dump!

  • Villariagosa as a former member of Voz de Aztlan (a militant Hispanic separatist group) is hailed a "hero" to Latinos across the US, the same reputation like Moscone was to Gays across America. The city of L.A. has a Hispanic majority, while San Fran. has about half the city's population thought to be gay/lesbian. Sorry to get off topic (and not prejudiced towards Latinos or gays), but L.A. should get a new mayor to draw in more business and a NFL team if L.A. desires to.+

  • I feel the LA football stadium drive shots its own foot by having a divisive man like L.A. mayor Anthony Villaraigosa to promote the ill-fated project. Was the stadium site ever approved?, the KABC news story aired on April 20th. +

Anthony Villariagosa is the nation's most controversial mayor since Giuliani & the Daley family. He's compared to Tom Bradley and George Moscone of San Francisco, the first openly gay mayor was assassinated with his co-partner Harvey Milk in 1978.

  • The mayor of L.A. promotes a site in the city of Industry (not his city), but screw it on the 20th attempt for a NFL coliseum in Southern California (GO CHARGERS, San Diego can't keep them either). In the late 1990s, L.A. fought to keep the Dodgers from moving out, followed by a new arena to keep the Clippers and Kings hockey teams (nah, only the Lakers sell out) and arena football? LoL. Arte Moreno owns The L.A. Angels of Anaheim (he doesn't wanna alienate the L.A. fan base) and the Ducks.+

  • 13 years without the NFL and L.A. just can't seem to quit. I mean the Rose Bowl can't be a good NFL site? The Home Depot center in Carson was build for a NFL team, but got the Major League soccer Chivas USA and LA Galaxy home games. L.A. sports market in the 1990s had the worst recession in its city history, the 1992 L.A. riots, the 1994 earthquake damaged Olympic coliseum to made the Raiders relocate back to Oakland and the Rams ended up leaving too. The Staples center is a bad joke. +

  • whats wrong with the staples center

  • I believe it

  • Please come home NFL to Los Angeles. The City of Angeles is the birthplace of the Super Bowl.

  • AMEN LOS ANGELES DOES NEED A FOOTBALL TEAM! I hope they make one and it better be good!
