what i think is silly since this house was continuous construction project, just go ahead and fix the damage and complete the unfinished , im sure wimchester wouldnt mind... i mean who cares how it looked after earthquake or how it looked when she died.. i mean theyve obviously done alot of work to maintain it,and they have furniture thats not original..so go ahead and finish the house.! would make it safer!

i could be wrong but i think that the movie "Thirteen Ghosts " is loosely based on this house, however the idea of the house in that movie is to trap the evil spirits not confuse them, they just seem similar to me

It's not quite the real story though.
