Rachel was cute in the hat, but should have taken it off after, oh, a minute or so. that was the first time i felt a disconnect...like "uh oh, she's gonna prove her critics right" by losing sight of the fact that she's a better analyst and commentator than a comedienne. there's levity, and then there's "what are you doing??" she doesn't have to ACT cutesy to BE cute...she IS the cuteness! :o(
Let's see, the villain of Obama was drawn as a "White" "Executive" type. How Liberal a concept!! Gotta stick it to those hard working, rich, white guys right?
"Change" is coming alright! I guess the change is putting down anyone who believes in less Big Brother and getting up to go to work everyday!
I used to consider Rachel intelligent and perhaps she is, but she has sold out to peddling hate instead of using her brains to report fairly. Her snide, dis-respectful, way of propaganda has shown her sell-out.

caribean, i think it's fair to say rachel is very intelligent. but intelligence isn't the issue, you don't agree with her opinions, which is fine, but that doesn't make her a hate monger. i don't think she has "sold out to peddling hate" either, that's a bit over the top. she definitely has her opinions, but they are not hateful. ? she's very passionate, idealistic, and intense/aggressive about the things she cares about. definitely. to compare that to racism is not accurate at all.
I liked Rachel until she got hateful and I do call it hateful. You don't see it because you agree with her and probably feel the other side has it coming.
That flies in the face of everything the Peace Movement is about. Shall Obama convince his adversaries with a "Rachel Maddow" approach? Will that win over the Iranians?
Rachel is going after ratings and hate sells. MSNBC is over the top in my opinion!
caribean, i don't agree with rachel on everything, and she doesn't (nor do I) agree with obama on everything. it's not one united liberal front, though i agree people do tend to group each other like that and go on the attack (whether libs or cons, or whatev). i personally consider myself a mutt, liberal on some things conservative on others. i don't have a party or ideological affiliation.
i don't know about the connection to maddow, obama and a peace movement? three different things.
