Philly salons are definitely expensive for no reason. I use a braider in Upper Darby. She works out of her home and charges $90 (hair not included). If you are still looking for an activity tomorrow, there will be a celebration reception/service at the Prince Music Theater on Chestnut St. hosted by The Perfecting Church (just add .org to the name to get the website): 40-piece orchestra, food, spoken word.
